My friend and I stopped off here for some refreshments during our bike ride around Ladner. It's a bit off the beaten path but not too far, as it's a working farm. Great place to sit, relax and enjoy the delicious craft brew. Lots of seating, covered and uncovered. I got the flight for $12, which includes choice of 4 beers.

Good friendly service. Will have to stop off some other time to try their food.

On my recent visit to Barnside Brewery in Delta, I was excited to try their selection of ales and pub fare. The space itself is inviting, with rustic décor and a lively atmosphere, but unfortunately my experience was a bit uneven.

Service felt overly intrusive throughout the meal—the server checked in so frequently it became distracting rather than helpful. That said, when I realized the hopped beer I’d ordered wasn’t to my taste, the team was gracious enough to exchange it for a different brew and even comped my pretzel without hesitation. I really appreciated that flexibility and willingness to make things right.

As for the food, the featured salad looked fresh and colorful, but the portion was surprisingly small for the price. I would have expected at least a handful more mixed greens and toppings to feel satisfied, especially given the menu’s mid-range pricing.

Overall, Barnside Brewery has clear strengths in ambiance and their beer lineup, and their staff handled my mix-up admirably. With a bit more balance in service pacing and more generous portions, this could be a standout spot in Delta.

First Time Visit:
Very nice, great atmosphere on a working farm. I recommend the spicy chicken sandwich for $18. My wife had a delicious strawberry & blueberry sour and had the IPA, both were good. We will be back

Barneside has an awesome vibe—laid-back, lively, and super welcoming. I’ve been to a bunch of breweries across BC, and this one really stands out. Great beer, friendly staff, and a space that makes you want to stick around. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Lovely spot to sit on a patio, especially on a warm sunny day. The beer is great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food was yummy too. We tried their charcuterie board and the pretzel. In all honesty I would not order the pretzel again, but the mustard dipping sauce was really good. Great service. Would certainly go back!

Great view, great patio, great beer and great food.....all around a great experience! Forgot to take pictures of the food but the chili was great and so was the "gobbler". Be prepared for it to be busy on a sunny day.

What a gem of a place. Me and my honey sat on the patio under the heater, ordered a flight and draft cider. We shared the grilled cheese and beer pretzel that came with a sweet and spicy mustard dip. A great way to spend a few hours in the afternoon. We had great service and had no less than 5 staff check back with us throughout our visit. Highly recommend!
