Ate but didn’t stay here. Had the cod and chips, which was good! Chicken Alfredo which was amazing. Chicken fillet burger was good, beef dip I would not recommend, the meat was tough. Sticky toffee pudding was good! Unlike others I’ve had, almost molasses/rum taste.
One of the better restaurants I’ve been outside of St. John’s

My husband and I were out for a drive and ended up in Kings point. We saw the By the Bay Inn and Cafe! My husband wanted a coffee and I wanted a tea, simple? The service was terrible! When we placed the order, the waitress seemed unhappy that we weren't ordering anything else. She asked a couple of times and I said yes and I said yes twice! We felt unwelcome, and out of place! My husband couldn't drink his coffee because it tasted like instant coffee , and I drank my tiny mug of tea! It's a lovely place, but the the waitress that served us was not cut out for the job! I wouldn't go back there!

We enjoyed the chowder, salt and pepper ribs and the quesadillas here. The service was outstanding. We tried to book a room as well. They had no availability but Debbie went above and beyond I helping us to find a local place.

This place is a must to eat and to watch humpback whales frolicking by. We didn’t see the whales as they have not been active for the past week. However, others raved about it.

Beautiful Inn in a quiet and picturesque community. Friendly, helpful staff. Susie, the lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpfuL She took her time to show us around the room and point out amenities. Will definitely go back there again!

Hot and delicious. The chowder was ok and the home made roll was tasty. My friend enjoyed the turkey, dressing, cheese, fries and gravy. Everybody like the hime made fries. The spinach dip was hot with loads of nachos chips. We sat on the patio which overlooks the beautiful bay. No whales that day and apparently they do come in that far to see them from the restaurant. Make a reservation as it gets quite busy.

We read great things about the food . We drove there from Grand Falls-Windsor for supper on a Tuesday. It wasn't very busy. But the fried chicken dinner that she ordered was left over from the day before. You can tell what leftover fried chicken tastes like. Very Disappointing.

Visited the café with family members. I've been here before and its always been a great experience. Today, our food took a long time after we ordered, the deep fried fries, and onion rings were overcooked, and very greasy. There was a pool of oil in our onion rings and except for a couple rings on the top, they were inedible. We mentioned this at the cash, but no discount was offered. Also of mention, no server returned to our table to check to see if we needed anything, and no one came with our bill. We went to the cash and even then no one came to serve us so we could pay until we spoke up and asked if someone could please serve us. Just wanted to let you know. Things cannot be fixed if management is unaware. We will probably return, but if this service continues we won't be able to recommend it to family and friends.
