The seafood here from my understanding comes from the Fanny bay seafood market not too far from the inn. The oysters were very delicious and fresh. We also got the lobster sliders, seafood linguine, and the seafood chowder. My favourite were the seafood sliders and the mignonette oysters. Unfortunately the chowder lacked flavor (was not salty at all) but seemed to have a good amount of seafood inside hence the 4 stars instead of 5 for the food. The service was amazing and lots of people seemed to be sitting out at the patio enjoying drinks. The patio was dog friendly but unfortunately didn’t have any views of the bay since the patio was fenced. Nonetheless, it was an amazing experience and I highly recommend coming here if you want to enjoy some drinks or fresh oysters!

Well tended restaurant/bar and grounds. They have great gluten-free options, including GF beer from Whistler! Dogs allowed on huge back patio and great grassy areas with picnic- style tables. Oysters of course too, several different ways. Very much enjoy this place! Best option, must stop location.

We go there for lunch on a rainy day. It's quite busy on weekday.
Good food and best service. We order the oyster and mussel and two soups. I like my soup since it is the feeling of home.
We enjoy the place since we find the last table closed to the window.
If it's sunny day, I think everyone prefer sitting in the garden. I see many people order the pizza and it looks good. Maybe, I will try the pizza next time.

We went here after reading fantastic reviews. We were looking forward to trying specific items off the menu, deep fried oysters, and haddock and chips, only to find they were not available as they were out of stock. I would understand but they had just opened and were not overly busy from what we could see.
The baked oysters were good. The cod was OK, but very thin/small pieces of fish that seemed over battered.
Overall it was a good atmosphere and service.

We stopped here with friends for lunch and it was EXCELLENT! The patio was the perfect spot for a sunny day visit.
Everything on the menu sounded delish but settled on a salad and adding salmon. Highly recommend. The salmon portion was a really good size, cooked perfectly and so tasty!

Would definitely recommend and will be back on future trips!

On June 27th, myself and a few friends came to FBI for some food. We didn’t know the kitchen closed at 8pm and we arrived at 8pm. As we were leaving they asked where we were going and we expressed we didn’t realize the kitchen closed at 8pm we will come back tomorrow. Scott (the chef) stopped us and told us to get back inside and he will cook us food.
He then made as an appetizer free of cost before we got our food.
The food we got was super hot, delicious and great.
The service was excellent, the people are so friendly and make you feel nothing but welcomed. Overall FBI is a great place to go, for food, drinks, entertainment, and to just hangout. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

FBI is a great little ocean view pub with lots of outdoor seating during the warm seasons. The food is always top-notch, good entertainment and the servers are friendly. It can sometimes get pretty busy, but it's always worth the wait!
