Guy & Jackie are the best! They went way out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Can't thank them enough.

Had an amazing stay with Rainy River Resort! Our booking was last minute after a few things came up with our planned trip and these guys were amazing! The service was top notch, they checked in consistently to make sure we always had anything we needed. A challenging year to start the ice season this year but that does not affect the service here, their staff truly cares for all their guests experience regardless of the situations! Thank you for the great trip!

The owner didn't tell us the resort was closed when she made the reservation... I thought it was weird that she required full payment up front, and when we showed up everything was locked up except for a few cabins, so we just picked one. The owner rudely replied to my email basically telling me figure it out... the first cabin we tried had no power in the bedrooms so we were lucky there was another one open. The cabins, furniture and beds haven't been updated since 1980 so don't expect luxury. I would never stay here again after this experience.

1st time staying with Rainy River. We rented a sleeper unit. Very nice insulated unit, comfy chairs. Excellent staff guides that were very friendly, helpful & accommodating. Loved being able to drive our own vehicle out to the house so all our belongings were conveniently there instead of being stuffed in a bombardier with a few things on your lap. We bought Rainy River hoodies as they were high quality, think material, not the thin cheap stuff others try to pass off for big bucks. This resort does not micro manage you. We will definitely be coming back for another trip! Thank you for the memories Rainy River resort...no rain, just nice ice.

Can't say enough about this place. From start to finish, folks are awesome! Food is fantastic, the fishing is phenomenal, the staff is by far the best! I can't wait until next year as we will make an annual trip no doubt about it.

The owners were great and really made us feel welcome. Our only complaint would be that the beds were pretty uncomfortable. But you can tell that they are working on making upgrades to the resort so maybe beds are on their list. We had a good time while we were there and are making plans to return, both winter and summer. Edit: we stayed again in a different cabin and everything was just great.
