Had to go to Rainy for a family event. Booked here with ease, they allowed dogs, and Sherry and Duane were very, very nice and offered their help with anything I would need. The in-room drinks and food were awesome and plentiful, they event had a little bag of dog treats for the doggo. Room was cozy, comfortable, and clean. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Rainy and I would definitely book here again.

Comfortable and clean. Loved talking with Sherry, she is very friendly and helpful. Great selection of complimentary snacks in the room to make sure we have a good stay. I was traveling for work and only spent one night but I will definitely return if in the area. Thank you!

I've stayed here several times n the past and was a bit surprised that it now seems to have new ownership. I suspect that COVID was an extraordinarily difficult time for this establishment. The rooms are basic, a bit dark, and Rainy River hosts very active train tracks that make everything in town somewhat noisy but you soon adapt. The front desk person was very busy but also very friendly and tried to be helpful at check in. (The big challenge in Rainy River is getting some dinner ... no restaurants! There is a bake shop for lunch, a chip truck open four or five days from 11 to 7, and one other place with limited hours. )

What a great spot. The staff are lovely and the rooms are great. I travel all the time for work and get cranky over hard hotel beds but the ones here have pillow top mattress and are just delightful. I definitely felt like Goldilocks here. Has a nice clean barbecue and a sitting area for when you want to grill. And I recommend that since the area doesn’t have many restaurant at all. Good pastries in the morning too. 10/10 do recommend.

This place is wonderful. The staff sherry and dwayne are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are excellent with pillow top beds. When I was there last they were in the middle of renos and I got to see one of the freshly done rooms. It looks awesome. They give you snacks when you come in too. To a weary traveler like me it was a treat. I love it here.

The homey interior decor, well appointed rooms with ample amenities and space, comfy beds, and delicious pastries in the morning, all made for a very enjoyable stay. Sheri and Duane meticulously keep the place clean, and they are both quite friendly and helpful. ||One additional note is that the town of Rainy River does not have a operating restaurant. However, there is a well stocked, friendly market, where we bought frozen dinners which we microwaved in our room (as we often like to do on long trips like this). Highly recommended!

The Walla Walla has been recently renovated. The carpet free rooms are comfortable and well appointed with fridge, microwave and keurig. We enjoyed our overnight.

We stayed for 3 nights here. Sherry and Duane were great hosts. It’s a small hotel with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Rainy River has very few businesses but Duane was willing to drive us over the border for what ever we needed. The welcome goody bags and daily made baked goods were very appreciated.
