My wife had the Monte Christo and it was really tasty! She ordered it with the waffle fries and it came with a side of maple syrup to dip the sandwich in . But the side of ranch instead of a seasoned sour for the waffle fries was disappointing. That's fine for my 12yr old daughter but for an adult condiment.....?

I had the Perogies and they were tasty but needed a bit more to be a substantial dinner. They are stuffed with the traditional mashed potato stuffing and really good but definitely missing some kind if a sauce and more protein.....The bread stick they served with it, on top of Perogies pretty much misses the mark for me despite how good the bread stick was. There's just no need for extra carbs when you're already having dumplings stuffed with mashed potatoes ...........My wife's meal was far more filling than mine was and much more flavorful.

Overall a pretty solid meal for the area despite my foodie nitpicky critiques. I would definitely eat there again if I was in the area. ?

3 of us arrived around 7:30am on a Friday morning. There were quite a few people eating but we were still seated immediately. There was a sign on the door saying they were understaffed however, we didn’t seem to notice any delays in getting our food or anything.

Our server was friendly!

I had the eggs Benedict with hashbrowns (and added peppers/onions). The eggs Benedict tasted great however the egg yolk was completely hard. The hashbrowns were also good, just pretty greasy.

I stole my daughter's pancake and it was super yummy!

Overall it was a good meal, and we would definitely come back.

We stopped in to have dinner. We decided to see order some salads. I had the crispy chicken salad with the homemade ranch dressing. It was delicious. My husband had the chef salad with the homemade ranch dressing. It was also delicious. The salads were huge! If you are going through town or staying in town, you definitely have to stop here.

Charming little breakfast spot with terrible coffee and amazing food. They're very short staffed and the wait was a bit long but the staff were very nice. Our waitress Taylor was awesome, handled herself well despite the number of tables she was waiting on. We didn't mind the wait as staffing shortages seemed to be a reoccurring theme throughout the town. Great stop before heading out hiking.

We ate here on 6/19/23 before we traveled to Voyageur National Park. The food was delicious and we’d definitely eat here again. Our waitress was very nice. $58 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Can't say I ever had a bad meal in the place. Sometimes it's just not as good as it was the time before. Most of the time for that is they struggle with having Cooks but on this particular night the place was completely packed. I give props to the cook that was cooking for everyone always clean, friendly, enjoyable place to be

Great quality breakfast with large portions. Nice hashbrowns. Not greasy at all. Couldn't find any good breakfast place in Fort Frances and it is well worth the drive over.
