Definitely and old school neighborhood pub.
Even a Sat meat draw.
Plenty of TVs for sports.
Patio with views of the lake.
Gravel parking.
6 seat sit up bar.
Lots of tables and 1/2 booths.
Food looked good going by.

Service was a little slow but not like you would get up and go elsewhere. Great nachos. Very tasty and good portions. Relaxed outside dining atmosphere.

Great view from patio, awesome food and large portions! Very attentive and friendly staff. Well staffed so servers are not too over run by a busy, sunny weekend day! Great experience 👍 and will definitely be back!

Great pub with a patio that overlooks the lake. Had been hear before and was recently there for the Black Bear Pub golf tournament. Was a great time, like one big happy family. Would recommend stopping in to cool off with a beer or warm up with a meal. 🤟

What a delight to find this pub along the Parkway bike path ! It made for the perfect stop before heading back to our vehicle. Friendly servers ! I had the steak sandwich with a salad and wifey had the daily soup ( i forgot what it was). But as our pictures show, our food was partially gobbled up before taking the pictures ! We’ll definitely stop here again. The outdoor patio was very nice on a sunny day.

One of the best pubs in Nanaimo. Fantastic food and super friendly staff.

There are daily/weekly specials and events for everybody.

Their patio is large with nice views of the mountain.

Some of the best wings in town with so many unique flavors and you must try their garlic Parmesan fries if you are a garlic lover

The service was excellent. Our server was prompt, friendly and actually made us feel welcome and wanted!

The food... Pretty plain. Nothing special at all. We sent back cold poutine, but it was replaced with hot, apparently there are a couple of new people in the kitchen.

People gathered to smoke at the signs right in front of the door next to the parking area so that the only way in or out was through a cloud.
