Not sure if the place is under new management or the staff just doesnt care. But the pizza has changed. We ordered from KOD for over 20 years and it was always consistent. Lately the crust is thinner and dried out. Tonight it was burnt. Less sauce, less cheese. Even the onions are cut differently. Whatever you changed, change it back.

welcoming with a good smile 😊 when we first walked in. Girl named Inder was friendly and helped me decide what to get. I ordered two Donairs her customer service was on point.

Amazing Donair. There’s a reason this is the oldest and one of the most popular franchises in Halifax.

I was impressed at how much meat was stuffed into the donair sandwich. The sweet white sauce is quite unique. I really liked it.

I think more veggies would make it better but I suppose they try to keep it simple with just onions and tomatoes.

Donair Egg Rolls were really good too.

For having the name like king of Donair, it was very disappointing. I found their price point high for the quality and size of the Donair The meat was very dried out and very little sauce, but massive Amount of onion and tomato to make it look bigger. I found staff members do not really be that friendly. There was no hello. How are you? It was a blank look until you said you were there to pick up an order.

First time going since the “Under New Management” and I’ll NEVER go back. Worst donair I’ve ever had, I’ve had in Ontario that was better. I asked for lightly cooked and 1/2 the pieces were burnt and dry. Also ordered a thin crust pizza, it was far from thin and it was burnt!! This new “team” in Lower Sackville is going to ruin the KOD name.

Ordered a donair late evening Friday in store and took it home. Very disappointing. The meat was very dry and bland. Gross. For the company that created the donair you would expect top quality. Will not order from this location again. Many other very good options in Lower Sackville.

The first time I have had the donair sauce and poutine. So disgusting, I love their pizza but the poutine was so so disappointing, paid almost 20 dollars for donair poutine. Sauce had NO taste, no garlic, no sweet taste just bland! And the fries were very soggy and just poor quality fries !
Donair egg rolls were also not good at all, no flavor, so disappointed!!!
