Lots to be desired from the service itself. I changed my treatment to an upgraded hot stone massage, never got the hot stones, and there was no real technique in the massage treatment itself. Truth be told, the value for service was not there. The facilities are very nice, for the type of hydro treatment they offer. Staff is nice, easily distracted from a sales opportunity too. It seems as though they have enough to deal with and can't be bothered. The same experience over the phone and the same experience in person. They would rather you figure it out than assist you in navigating the services they offer. In regards to tipping, I don't have any challenge, but allow me, the customer, to dictate how I want to pay and how much I want to tip. I'm offering to tip in cash. Don't tell me that I already tipped 20% as it was included, which paper work did i sign that said i mandatorily had to give you $30+ for that level of service. Explain these things to me, the customer. Hope the next time will be better

This place is very relaxing, clean and well monitored. The smell is also very refreshing. When you arrive, you are given a package that includes your own robe and slippers. For a few dollars more, you can also get an exfoliating mitt. Once you have your items, you can head off to the women or men's section. In each section, there are bathrooms, showers, lockers and dressing areas. There are areas to sit in front of mirrors to dress and/or undress. There is body lotion and plenty of towels for you to use. There are areas to dispose of used towels and avaliable bottle water and cold water fountain stations to stay hydrated. Women and men's areas each have their jacuzzis and cold plunge pools. Throughout the spa you will find saunas and areas to sit. There is a small restaurant area where you can eat and drink. There are comfortable heated beds as well for sleep and relaxation. You could also purchase massages or other treatments like facials, etc.

This was the first Korean spa I've been to in the US and overall it was great and wonderfully relaxing. Very clean and spacious environment.

The saunas were the highlight of the experience because I loved the charcoal dry sauna as well as the Himalayan salt room. The cold sauna could be a tad colder, in my opinion. All of the sauna rooms were amazing, though the heated chairs really had a special space in my heart. The heat was nice and toasty and it almost made me fall asleep.

The bathhouse has three pools, a warm one, a hot (which could have been a lot hotter), and a cold plunge. I loved the steam room and I would totally recommend others to get the green scrubs to do a self scrub if you didn't book the Korean ahjumma to give you a scrub.

Downsides: this was a birthday trip for my friend and it was all of our first times, but literally five minutes in we were met with sub par customer service. We were looking at the daily pass schedule at the entrance and went up to the counter to ask about what we needed to get in, but the person responded very unhelpful and was honestly rude. So I had just barely stepped into this place and was already disappointed, the reason for -1 star. He didn't even offer to talk about what was offered or any treatments, though we did our research beforehand but bad vibes all around. People come to the spa for a pamper and relaxing day, and I was not expecting to feel lost and distraught.

I do think that people should experience this because it was really fun and my friends had said they would come back, although I would be wary about people at the front desk.

Amazing spa. Staff is so nice and knowledgeable. I loved Emma at the front desk! When I first walked in, they gave me a tour and a run down of how things worked and the locations of everything. All my questions were answered if I asked. Bath robes, towels, and small water bottles are provided with your day pass!

The spa itself is very clean and so relaxing. I love the soothing music throughout the whole place. You can walk around barefoot or buy slippers but they are constantly cleaning the floors and the entire place so it doesn’t even matter. I loved the steam room and the Himalayan salt room. So rejuvenating
and my body and skin felt so nice after. I had the best sleep when I came home? I was there for about 5 hours using my day pass.

The food was BOMBBB!!! I loved it! The service was quick and easy. Definitely recommend the fried dumplings! Whatever you don’t finish, they provide take out containers!
I will be taking trips here more often, typically every other month❤️

Massage was great but paid $165 for a one hour massage that was only 50 minutes. When I asked reception if that was standard, she said ( with attitude) the time to disrobe and discuss the therapy with the masseuse was part of the hour.....I've never experienced that before.
Also, my therapist stopped numerous times for over a minute.....not sure what he was doing but a good masseuse is not supposed to take their hands off of you.
Massage was decent but I will never go back again. Ended up more annoyed than relaxed. Not worth it.

2/28/24—Following my disappointing experience at the Preserve Spa, I must express my delight in discovering what I believe to be the finest establishment in Rhode Island. It is imperative to note that this spa operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, sauna access is not included in facial and massage treatments; it must be purchased separately. Now, onto my review: On a day unusually warm for the season, a whim seized me to spend the day enveloped in luxury at the spa. As an avid spa enthusiast, my quest for the perfect sauna experience has taken me far and wide, from the tranquil waters of cruise ships to the serene landscapes of land-based retreats. I've sought to replicate that otherworldly feeling of relaxation and rejuvenation in my own backyard. (New England ) Then, as if by fate, a new opportunity presented itself this year. Drawn in by tantalizing images and promising reviews, I found myself increasingly eager to indulge in this newfound sanctuary.
I decided to seize the moment and embark on this adventure. Armed with caution from past experiences, I meticulously researched every detail to avoid any unwelcome surprises. Navigating my way through the bustling streets, I arrived at the spa around 11:30 am, greeted warmly by the staff. After passing through security, I received my designated bracelet, a symbol of entry into this oasis of tranquility. As I made my way to the changing rooms, I observed the peaceful surroundings. Equipped with robe, towels, and locker key attached to my bracelet after registration , I prepared for my journey into relaxation. Following the rules of no barefoot walking, I slipped into my own flip-flops and proceeded to explore the array of saunas and whirlpools, each offering its own unique allure. You can buy flip flops if you needed .
The restaurant, aptly named Hanna, provided a welcome respite, with its array of healthy options and delectable Korean dishes. Savoring a cup of ginger tea with lemon and indulging in veggie kimbap, I relished every bite, knowing there were still hours of bliss ahead. The heated lounge chairs beckoned, their soft cushions inviting me to linger a while longer. Here, amidst the soothing spa music and dimly lit ambiance, I found myself transported to a state of utter tranquility
As I made my way to the changing rooms, I observed the peaceful surroundings.
Within the tranquil confines of the spa, an array of saunas beckoned, each promising its own unique experience. However, one sauna, the steam sauna, lay dormant, its absence duly noted by a conspicuous sign at the front desk. Among the spa's offerings were three small pools, each varying in temperature. One pool sent shivers down my spine with its icy chill, while another offered a moderate reprieve from the heat, and the third, a steaming oasis of warmth, invited relaxation. I watched with intrigue as two daring souls plunged into the cold pool, their expressions mirroring a blend of shock and exhilaration. Ah, the joys of visiting a spa nestled within the bustling confines of a casino! It's like stepping into a world where relaxation meets taxation. Politics!
In this high tech era where advancements in technology have blurred the lines between reality and virtuality, even the most serene sanctuaries are not immune to the intrusion of digital devices. Yet, despite clear directives against it, clients persist in flashing their cellphones. there are always those who choose to disobey, their defiance a testament to the arrogance of the human spirit.I am left to ponder how management will address this breach of etiquette. Confrontation in such tranquil environs could easily escalate into conflicts of epic proportions, jeopardizing the very essence of our sanctuary. These individuals love thrust employees into uncomfortable predicaments. To the patrons of Spalight, I offer a simple plea: Be respectful of others, for in the age of digital intrusion, even the smallest transgressions can have profound consequences on the collective harmony of our shared sanctuary.

I treated my girlfriend for a deep massage and she enjoyed it. She was surprised that she also got a complementary meal which caught me by surprise as well. The reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is because my girlfriend was charge an Admission Day Pass which was something that I told them no to over the phone. The employee told us that the refund is being process but I still didn’t like that it happened. Lastly, the other reason for the stars was the tip which was already taken into consideration. I did not appreciate that they chose for us how much of a tip they deserved. Also, I think that is an important information to be known before booking. If I knew that I would’ve probably not had booked with them. So I write this review to warned others if they’re considering going here.

Replying to the Owner: I appreciate you giving some of your time to reply to my message. Regarding the tip, my girlfriend had inform me that the possibility of adjust the tip and that it wasn’t mandatory was not presented to her. I would suggest a reminder to the staff about this.

The spa was so nice and super quiet. If your a loud person in general it might be too quite for you. It's the perfect place to unwind. The food there is pretty good as well.
