The beds were very comfortable.
The bathroom in one of the queen rooms was extremely small.
Nice common area for all guests to store food
The living room on the main floor was very inviting with access old records we could play.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Lots of variety.
The hosts, Michael and Thomas were very engaging in conversation. It was well located on the edge of town and walkable to most restaurants.

We stayed at the Fairmont House B&B recently and really enjoyed it.. Thomas was a wonderful host and was very accommodating. The rooms were clean, the bed was sooo comfortable, and lots of natural light. Breakfast was great (and for me in particular, I really liked the smoked salmon & my eggs). The house has been beautifully renovated and the open staircase was a marvel and we loved all the chandeliers, and the rocking horse! I also had some family history related to this house, so felt more connected than others may. We have never left a tip at a hotel before, but this $50 was well worth it!!

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht auf dem Rückweg nach Halifax. Das B&B hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und Michael's Frühstück war das beste auf unserer gesamten Reise. Die selbstgemachte Marmelade von Thomas muss man probiert haben. Das Zimmer und zugehörige Bad waren zwar klein, aber sauber und für uns absolut ausreichend. Die Lagen direkt an der Hauptstrasse bewerten wir ebenfalls als vorteilhaft.

Beautiful home, great location and wonderful hospitality! Michael and Thomas were wonderful hosts with many suggestions of things to see and do nearby. We definitely need to come back!

Our stay at Fairmont House was lovely. The property is beautiful and in a fantastic location. Michael was very welcoming and made us a lovely breakfast. We would definitely stay here again the next time we’re nearby.

Our stay was mid-July...OK, so this is the place to stay in Mahone Bay. Michael and Thomas were wonderful. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Breakfast had an array of delectables. Enjoyed sitting outside and sharing life stories and information on the area. Highly recommend
