Abundant Menu - Sweet Potato fries were some of the best I've had and only a $2.50 upgrade (would like to try the Caesar salad next). Lots of Deserts. Bright, Fun & Clean Atmosphere (outside signage is lacking). Inside has a Diner "feel". My only complaint is drinks are served in Tiny cups and not refillable (not even pop). Need adult sized cups or one free refill. Pies look Delicious -especially the Lemon Mirangue.

Today stopped by and asked for a burger and coffee. Service was quick and burger so delicious. Coffee also great. Staff seemed to have fun and seemed to enjoy their work place . I have only recently tried the hamburger and now it’s my favourite meal. Rachel was my server and she like the others are very nice and friendly. Will be back

Oct 18 2024 came for liver and bacon.,the very best, done as I asked and the carrots and peas were done perfectly. I love this place as it is so homey. Server was Samantha and she was friendly and attentive. I also indulged in butterscotch pie. Again delicious. For sure will be back.

First time visiting this place as I’m visiting with family here. Came highly recommended and I can see why. Had breakfast and waitress was fantastic and I have not seen prices so good in years. Next time here I will stop in again. Food so great 😀

My sister is visiting and we went here. Our first server gave us drinks and a menu then we didn’t see her again. Finally we stopped another server and she took our order. Well after we were eating the other server said oh you’re getting served? But having said that, the food was hot and tasty. My sister has chicken and sweet potato fries. I had breakfast. We had cake and jello for dessert. Super friendly server , she was called in on her off day and stayed longer than her shift. I will certainly come back for the food and service. Her name was Jessica WM.

Worth the drive from Truro!

We had the Friday supper special of pan fried haddock and it was top notch. Generous portions and great service. Topped off with butterscotch pie.

I was in a group with of 4 and we all enjoyed it a lot.

The Haddock Fish & Chips were spectacular; some of the best I’ve tasted. The Fish Cakes were so good, they triggered childhood memories. The price was very reasonable and Kelsey was fun, patient, kind, and made us feel very welcome. Definitely an excellent find while driving from Halifax to Cape Breton.

This place is a small diner style restaurant that has decent food. I went here with the group of work colleagues I was traveling with and we all thought it was good.

The coffee could be better, but it wasn't the worst I've ever had.

We thought the waitress was unintentionally funny because when I ordered a meal without bacon or sausage, she seemed shocked and said, "No meat?" She was even funnier when one of my colleagues ordered the Big Boy Breakfast and she looked at him and said, "You want the Big Boy?" Her delivery when asking the question was hilarious, as she asked in a way that was just as shocked as me not ordering meat.

Anyway, I would eat here again. 4 stars.

Food was missing flavor. No life, no love in it. None of us could finish our plates. The butter don't melt. Blan. Dry meat, smooshie pancakes. Flavorless eggs. I must a got the weekend guy who fills in for the cook.
