Wholesome , laid back, delicious and very affordable . The menu can be confusing but the friendly staff will recommend whatever they have fresh on the go. After my first sandwich, I’ve been here at least once a week. The stake sandwich with avocado was tender and full of flavour.

Look what I found today! Not that it was lost or anything, but what a find! The atmosphere is eclectic and quirky, which I like, a lot! The coffee is imported and ground on site, and it tastes great! The breakfast sandwich was fresh (real ingredient fresh) and the taste was savory with a little zing! There are lots of sandwiches and treats to choose from, and you can watch the owner make it for you! Absolutely worth a visit!

If you're ever in the area and in the mood for a fantastic meal (and I mean *fantastic*), you HAVE to check out this new market. The gentleman who runs the place is basically the definition of kindness—every time I walk in, he greets me like I'm his favorite person on Earth with a smile that could light up the room. Seriously, it’s like a warm hug in human form!

This was only my second time ordering food, but both experiences were absolutely *top-notch.* Today, I had the Steak Italiano sandwich, and let me tell you—**WOW**. If I could eat this sandwich every day, I would. So flavorful, so juicy, and *so affordable.* Honestly, I’d expect it to be way more expensive given how delicious it is.

The shop has all sorts of goodies, but for me, this is hands down the best sandwich spot in Newfoundland. If you’re looking for a tasty lunch or just a quick snack that will put a smile on your face (and probably make your taste buds do a happy dance), do yourself a favor and stop by. You won’t regret it!

Let’s get this out of the way: the Market Cafe is not fast food. The owner, who is Chilean, is plenty chatty, and will insist on helping you pick the best order and making your sandwich fresh. No frozen meats, no pre-prepped ingredients. If you’re willing to wait, though, you’ll be rewarded with a delicious sandwich in a friendly, relaxed environment that feels like something from a bygone era, or maybe a different part of the world. I sincerely hope more people give this place a try and it continues to thrive, as they so richly deserve the love and attention.

I recently visited The Market Family Cafe and had an outstanding experience. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The prices are very reasonable; I was pleasantly surprised to find that my iced coffee was only $1.84—such a great deal!

I ordered a grilled cheese, a beef empanada, a cookie, and two iced coffees, and the total came to just $20 after tax. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was a delight. The grilled cheese was perfectly toasted, the empanada was flavorful and satisfying, and the cookie was a sweet treat to finish off the meal.

I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area!
