For a first time visit to Stacked Pancake House, I can say I was quite pleased. The lovely staff, specifically Amanda were kind and welcoming and catered to my every need. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning again. Highly recommend!

We stopped in this morning via a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The hostess and waitress working were both absolute gems! Fantastic, friendly service. The atmosphere is bright, warm and very clean. This will become a hotspot in Renfrew -- has a local vibe even though it is a chain.
Food was delicious, too! We will definitely be returning!

Maddy (Matty) is exceptional. We truly enjoy our Mom/Daughter breakfast outing to Stacks when she is working. Her bright smile and friendly manner is welcoming. She knows our order, has fast service and always chats with us during our visit. We have been on other occasion when she is off, and honestly we don't have the same experience, we would rather wait and see her. The chef, also should be complimented as the food is always cooked to the same perfection. Each and every time we go, the eggs are done right, the bacon is cooked (crispy just the way we like it) and the home fries are perfect, very consistent. The Jam, a preserve style is also a highlight!!! All to say the experience is wonderful and much appreciated. The breakfast is worth it!!! Highly recommended!

This Smoked Meat Sandwich was skimpy at most! For the price, we expected layers of shaved meat and not the few chopped pieces of smoked meat that we received. Disappointing.

You can tell just by looking at the picture the sauce wasn't fresh nor creamy. The bacon wasn't crisped, ham was way too thick it over powers the taste of the eggs and benedict. Fruits weren't fresh. Patatoes weren't seasoned but they were crispy. The waitress didnt come give us refills. When she grabbed my plate that was barely touched she just grabbed it and left, didnt even ask what we thought of it. Overall this was a 3 out of 10 for me.

It was my first time at this restaurant and I was extremely impressed by the setup and service, given how busy it was. My friend and I waited about 2 minutes for a table. Not bad for noon on a Saturday. I live in Ottawa and I love supporting small towns, especially this one. I wasn't disappointed. My friend had the Waffle Stack breakfast and she loved it, especially the potatoes, even though they weren't seasoned, but the bacon was bit tough and dry. As for myself, I had the meatlovers egg breakfast. Eggs were perfectly done, sausages were big and juicy and tasted great! My only complaints are that the bacon was a bit dry and tough, possibly overdone, and no seasoning on the potatoes, but I upgraded and added onions and threw on ketchup, no problem. As for the bacon, I have to admit that it's a difficult meat to cook perfectly for everyone. Otherwise overall, we'll be back for sure, and we're telling our friends about the place! To the owner: please tell your staff and cooks to keep up the great work! You should be very proud of them!
