We stayed here twice in 2024. Once in July and another in September. Both super beautiful times of the year. And the owner, his wife and the staff are amazing and very accommodating. The cabins are great and location is just close enough and far away from everything that you would need to help enjoy your stay in the Muskoka.

I can’t wait to return, if not this year. Than next year for sure. Myself and my friends plan on returning every year if not every second year the latest. We fell in love with the area and will continue to make it our vacation spot for years to come.

My friend and I wanted a place to stay during our snowmobiling and fishing trip in Haliburton. We chose Sandy Lane because it has great access to snowmobile trails and fishing lakes. We also opted for the breakfast and dinner meal plan because who wants to cook and clean up after a day of winter activities. Our cabin was warm, clean, and functional and met all our needs. The food was delicious, abundant, and as good as any restaurant we've eaten at. Efjay and Jasmine are excellent hosts that pay attention to the closest details. We highly recommend Sandy Lane Resort.

My husband and I visited Sandy Lane for our 5 year wedding anniversary, we were married at this same spot 5 years previously and we were so thrilled to be able to celebrate in the same location! The spot was exactly as we remembered it - spotless rooms, rustic cabins, quiet beautiful scenery and endless activity opportunities. We enjoyed a beautiful crackling fire in our cottage upon arrival, followed by a snowy walk and a few games of pool in the games room. We then had a great pizza dinner at the new restaurant, The Buzz. Followed by a long soak in our own private hot tub under the stars. It was the perfect day and evening! We can't wait to go back with our two young boys for skating and tobogganing!

We stayed at the Sandy Lane Resort from January 31st to February 2nd while our son played in a hockey tournament. The whole team stayed for the weekend. We had a great stay. They skated, played hockey and ice fished for hours. There were 14 kids between the ages of four and 16. They barely looked at their phones and had the run of the area. The cabins were clean and exactly as advertised. The staff were very amenable to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely stay at the resort again and recommend to others.

Great location (on Halls Lake), close to snowmobile, ATV and 4x4 trails. Owners are super nice folks who will bend over backwards to make your trip better.

Food is delicious and dinning atmosphere is nice.

Cabins are a little dated but cosy and included a wood fireplace 👍

We just had dinner, did not stay at resort.
The food was unbelievable. 5 stars for sure.
I had Butter Chicken and my husband had Tiki Masala.
The menu includes lots of choices. We would recommend this dining spot.

Amazing owners and staff! They did everything possible to make our son and daughter-in-law's wedding the most positive experience! We are very thankful for them and appreciate their efforts to go above and beyond. Loved the cabins and having all our of friends and family close by. Thank you Sandy Lane Resort!
