Cette résidence est confortable et bien située cependant l'accueil laisse à désirer et plusieurs éléments fréquemment offerts sont manquants tels que: piscine int/ext, plage, restaurant, gym. En revanche, la région avoisinante est riche en activités nautiques et pédestres, ainsi qu'en restauration et découvertes de toutes sortes.

We had a studio apartment, very good condition well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. The staff at the resort were all very friendly and helpful. Tianna does a great job of making you feel welcome. There were deer regularly seen on the property right close to our unit. we saw a fox and a groundhog as well. The view of the lake from our unit was perfect. Minden and Haliburton are not far and have lots of shops and stores. A very relaxing week.

We had to use up some bluegreen points so we went through RCI. A company I do not like. Haven't had good experiences with them but this time it worked out well. The resort was lovely. It has a small beach across the road. Because it is early in the season no chairs were out yet but the docks were. The lake water looked very inviting. We had a two bedroom unit which was basically a one bedroom plus a studio. The one bedroom had a queen size bed, a good size room with an ensuite. The living room was also a good size with a pull out couch. Fire place was lovely. Ample room for 4 people. The kitchen was well supplied. Large frig, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle. There was a small washer and dryer in the foyer. I really liked the layout of the unit. The studio had a pull out cough, and down bed. No stove, but a mini frig, microwave, dishes for 4 people. It was larger than a hotel room. Both had patio doors . We were on the bottom level. The resort just has two levels so the upper level has stairs no elevators. There were 4 different buildings, all facing the lake. Nice playground for the little ones. The staff was very helpful. They have limited hours but always an emergency phone. We had a bad storm while we were there and the hydro went out. Water was supplied for drinking and toilets and flash lights. The hydro was only out for about 4 hours. They have books and DVDs for free loan. Help yourself. Haliburton village is only 10 min away and has all the necessities like Shopper's and grocery stores. We explored the region almost every day. The visitor centre was very helpful with maps. Beautiful area to get away from the big city. It was a great stay.

We made an RCI time-share exchange into this resort and were very satisfied. The one-bedroom suite was extremely well equipped; not just a kettle but also a teapot! 😁 A very peaceful resort, in well kept grounds with friendly, helpful staff who responded quickly to requests. Easy access to Haliburton and Minden. The paddleboat and canoes are very available at the small private beach. Saw deer every day, as many as 5 on one occasion, and a fox which came roaring across the property. Surrounded by forest.

The four season resort was quiet, and employees were very friendly. |The one bedroom suite consisted of a queen bed, microwave, and small refrigerator. A table and 2 chairs along with a sofa. |The television channels were limited. However, the front desk had dvd, and games they would lend out. (It rained several days, so we made use of a few movies) |A washer and dryer were in a room shared between 2 suites. |The area is pretty remote. |The view of the lake was beautiful. |There is a wolf sanctuary nearby. |We did see some red foxes run across the resort.

Haliburton Heights was a bit of a disappointing trip. Some of that was on us, as we should have absolutely specified at least a 1-bedroom on the 2nd floor. We had a studio on the 1st floor, which was run down and had a blocked view of the water. I did not take any photos of the interior of our room. There was no kitchen other than a counter with a sink. Contrary to what we read, not every unit has a full kitchen. With no restaurants within walking distance, cooking yourself is essential. Very difficult to do in a studio. The resort provided us with a cook plate and there is a BBQ area around the corner (in photos). Be prepared to wait in line to cook on the BBQs. They are very popular at dinner time.
The resort itself is a little run-down (see the attached photos to this review), where the signs are falling down, the steps down the hilly slope to the water are worn and weedy, and the roadways are sandy or gravel with bent grates and a caution cone.
Before arriving, we called to see what water equipment was available and were thrilled to hear that there were canoes, kayaks, and a paddle board. Unfortunately, the canoe and kayaks had small leaks and were very well used. The paddle board had a hole in it and submerged with any weight on it.
On a very positive note, the staff, Tianna and Tina, were lovely and very friendly. Couldn't have been more helpful.
If there is ever a next time, we will bring our own water sports equipment, and ensure we have at least a 1-bedroom, if not larger.

We enjoyed a very lovely vacation in a beautiful part of Ontario. The place could't be more peaceful, and the Haliburton area is stunning. The resort staff were so helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. The town of Haliburton is quite close and has wonderful shops and restaurants!

This was our first time visiting this resort, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the spaciousness of the one-bedroom apartment, and everything went smoothly throughout our visit. The only minor issue we encountered was the high iron content in the water and the dryness in the apartment, which caused some dryness of the skin. Although there was a jacuzzi available, I chose not to use it because of the water quality. However, this did not detract from our overall experience. We are very much looking forward to returning, and in fact, we have already booked our next stay for July.
