All round excellence!

Great vibe, spacious, terrific servers and fantastic food!! Honestly, everything on the menu was of interest. We split three appetizers and loved them all (goat cheese, pumpkin bread and quinoa fried broccoli and cauliflower). Next time we want to try this pizza!! (Basically as soon as I sat down, I knew we would be back).

The cocktails were creative (and tasty) and I was so happy to see an all Ontario wine list. (Maybe one was BC but still ). Craft spirits, beer and ciders too. This is a FeastON certified restaurant and you see the commitment to Ontario food and beverage.

Food and cocktails were presented beautifully too.

Absolutely love this place! Super cool vibe whether you're inside or out. The "rooms" are broken into sections so the noise is contained. Lovely vibe, amazing staff who are amazingly kind and genuinely work as a team. I'm happy to have found this place. Daily specials are cool too. Love the live edge bar. Ask the staff about food, seriously. I was between a few things and ended up ordering one of the most memorable pizzas of my life!! Thank you Miijdaa ! ❤️

The food and drinks were truly fantastic, beyond my expectations. I was truly impressed with how it was served and how it tasted. It was one of the best if not the best duck breasts in my life.
Even the chicken from the kids menu was well served and was delicious. Cocktails and desserts were great too. The price was reasonable for the quality of food we got.
I discovered a local gem and will be coming back.

I love this restaurant! The ambiance and service, unique cocktails, vegan options! My vegan butternut squash risotto was absolutely scrumptious!

My only complaint is that the only vegan dessert option(Apple Crisp) was far too sweet. I would have liked the syrup to come on the side so that I could add my own level of sweetness, as well as having a non-dairy vanilla ice cream rather than a peach sorbet.

Love the food! Everything ordered was plated well and tasted good. The gnocchi was my favourite; it almost melted in my mouth!

It was refreshing to see homemade soda on the menu and if you love ginger beer like me, then I highly recommend ordering the homemade ginger soda. Overall great experience 5 star!

Cozy restaurant in Guelph. The patio is a bit smaller and gets filled easily. Our server was great. Went above and beyond for customer satisfaction. Ordered the steak frites and it was good. An acquired taste, but good nonetheless. Loved the cornbread. My little one didn't enjoy the pizza as much. It was hard and basically burnt. If we took away the burnt parts, he would not have much left to eat. They made up for it and gave us a voucher to use for next time. Still recommend the place.

It pains me to rate Mijiidaa anything less than 5*, but as a long time customer, I can only say that it is not what it used to be.

It was my go-to recommendation for anyone visiting Guelph looking for a place to eat. It was great value for delicious, locally sourced food.

I returned today for the first time in a while. Portions are still reasonable, at a much higher cost (which I understand in these days). The menu has greatly been reduced. Staples that I loved like the elk scotch egg, hay smoked tofu, and braised beef rib are no longer available. There’s no tofu on the menu at all, actually.

We had the beef cheeks “boats” for an appetizer. From the menu description, I was expecting something similar to baked potato skins with braised beef cheeks in the “boat”. These were more like boiled baby potatoes with the tiniest bit of beef cheek and sauteed onion/shallot.

The smash burger was over 1/2” thick - therefore NOT a smash burger, just a regular burger. The bun was proportionally too large for the patty. My husbands chicken and bacon sandwich was pretty bland - how is something with bacon on it tasteless?

Whatever they have changed, I’m not a fan. I will not be recommending Mijiidaa in the future and will likely not return. This makes me very sad as a long time customer. ?
