I usually don’t leave reviews. I am a contractor that travels to every small town in Canada for work at least twice a month and I end having a whole week of eating poutine or burgers or tims. I walked into this place expecting the usual and the smell of the curry was amazing! This place has one of the best Indian plates that I have tried (I’m not Indian btw but I love their food). The owner was there at our table every night discussing the recipes and we even got to try pizza that they were testing for the menu. The place looks fancy and the ambiance is great (Loud some days as they also have a bar upstairs with tables you can reserve)
And if you don’t like Indian food, on my last day I tried the chicken saltimboca and it was very good. Looking forward to next visit.

The Dick’s special salad with smoked salmon was excellent. Ask for dressing on the side to add as much as you want. The bacon wrapped, mushroom stuffed chicken was very good too. The accompanying veggies were perfectly cooked and tasty.

I am updating my review from a handful of years ago. Today's visit was amazing. The food was great, the staff were awesome. Jayden was an amazing server. The food service was fast and you could tell they care about the quality of the product. They took my allergies very seriously. My only issue was the music was very loud. I can see it being a issue for people who might be older struggling to hear over the music.

Food was exceptional and came fast. Staff was great. Prawns were cooked perfect and had nice flavour. Naan bread is authentic. Kids had Poutine, Pasta and fried rice, which they both agreed was some of the best they’ve ever had. So excited Sioux Lookout has a restaurant of this caliber.

OVERPRICED
The Indian food here ain't authentic, and the prices don't match the quality and quantity. The ambience and staff are cool, but the food needs major improvement. They are totally ripping off Canadians who might not know the usual prices for Butter Chicken and Naan at a restaurant. They gotta do better, even for Sioux Lookout, Its way too overpriced.

Wanted to like it, but was dissappointed

Looks nice, but very loud and expensive.

Portions were small for the price. Butter chicken is $20. You get 6 bites of chicken and 3 pieces of naan. Sides like rice are extra (we realized it didn't come with rice after it was served)

Took our menu away before we ordered our food. Waitress never came back after clearing away our dishes. Half the restaurant was waiting to pay. 3 tables ended up having to ask hostess for our bill so we all could pay.

Poor serving staff and high prices compared to the other establishments in town.

Beautiful renovation. Attentive staff and amazing Indian food. We had the chicken biryani and butter chicken. The best we’ve ever had. Looking forward to our next visit!

As a vegetarian I was truly impressed and happy with biriani rice with vegetables. The portion sizes was amazing. That Naan bread was fresh and delicious ?. The wait time was under five minutes for a busy Saturday evening
The staff was friendly and helpful!!!
