My wife and I had a wonderful two nights. The room with a king sized bed was so comfortable. We had a good night’s sleep. You do get what you paid for when choosing a higher quality hotel. Overall we were very pleased with our room and it’s quiet location- not close to the elevator.

The service from the hotel staff was very kind and helpful. One of the staff even straightened up our room without us even requesting this.

We enjoyed the complementary breakfast. The area where the buffet where breakfast was served was bright and spacious. The selection of breakfast items was varied from day to day. This was by far the best complementary breakfast of any Best Western we stayed at in Canada.

Room we got had a strong chemical odor (smelled like freshly cleaned carpets). So we opened the window and turned on the AC to help clean the air as we went to the hot tub. Unfortunately, when we came back, the smell didn't go away, and we couldn't handle it anymore. The front desk clerk was great. He checked out the room and immediately got us a new room 3 doors down from where we were. This was a fantastic service. The new room was great. No issues.
The hotel is near the outside of town on the main road. There is a paved walking path in front of the hotel leading to shops and restaurants (about a 20-minute walk).
Continental breakfast in the morning was great. Pancakes, sausage, omelets, fruit, yogurt, and more. The coffee machine in the lobby was available all day and made great Americanos and lattes.

5/5 – Truly Amazing Stay – Better Than Ever!

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Prince George, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We stayed here last year and enjoyed it, but since the management changed, everything has improved so much—it’s like a whole new level of comfort, care, and quality.

The staff were all wonderful—friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. But what really stood out was the pool staff. They were not only great with the kids, but they actually played with them and kept them entertained and safe.

My wife and I felt so safe and confident in how the pool staff cared for our kids that, for the first time ever, we were able to fully relax and rest in the hot tub. At every other hotel we’ve stayed at, we’ve always felt the need to stay alert and watch over the kids constantly—but here, it was different. We were able to just breathe and enjoy ourselves knowing our children were in good hands. That level of trust and peace of mind is priceless.

The food was also amazing. The breakfast was delicious, and they even had “to-go” breakfast bags for guests checking out early—a thoughtful touch we’ve never seen anywhere else! The coffee machine in the lobby was a hit too. My wife and I loved the coffee, and our kids were obsessed with the hot chocolate. Just perfect!

Everything—from the service to the amenities—was simply awesome. With all the improvements and the incredible staff, we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prince George, especially families!

I was here for 3 nights and I must say the rooms were the cleanest I've seen in Prince George. The Front Desk poeple were very friendly and helpful and when i needed a bottle of toothpaste, they were able to provide one up to my room. I did have to knock off a star for location because I like to walk to get food, but it is a little further than i thought. Luckily i could order my food in. If you were hesitant about that though, their breakfast was phenomenal!!!

Well we have stayed here several times with no issue. Not sure where the parents are in this but it was brutal staying over this weekend. The kids were running up and down the stairs and creating a significant issue. The front desk was called four times with no resolve. I don't blame the hotel, I blame the parents. I understand having all of the teams in the hotel is great revenue for the hotel but when you spend $800 in a weekend you expect better. Its 9:52pm when we wrote this. You my might want to look elsewhere

BW+ PG is a very nice hotel offering a variety of fresh foods for those with dietary restrictions. Staff can be very welcoming and helpful. Their fitness centre is great, it’s always kept clean, has good machines and space for yoga/stretching. The pool, slide and hot tub are looked after really well. We stay in PG a lot and most times we stay here. They have a good membership program.

The staff here are friendly, helpful and professional. Krina and the other staff made the breakfast feel like we were dining out every morning. The food was delicious and fresh. The rooms and common areas were kept exceptionally clean. The amenities were plentiful and thoughtful. The staff made this stay top-notch.

We stopped here twice - once going to and once coming back from points farther west. Quick in was quick and efficient with a smile. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows comfortable. Complimentary breakfast had a good variety and was well monitored by the attendants, coffee was good. Check-out was quick and easy with emailed invoice. Location is very convenient for coming in off the #16 highway but it is a bit of a drive to get to restaurants and other services.
