I do not recommend this place.

When I arrived, I discovered multiple serious issues that made it impossible to stay. The skylight was leaking, with a bucket placed underneath, clearly indicating a long-standing problem. The leak caused a terrible smell throughout the apartment.

The bathroom ceiling and walls were covered in mold, and there was additional mold around the window and on the floor in the main room. The air quality was very poor and felt unsafe for health. The room also had a strong smell of urine, which made it even more unbearable.

Instead of a proper bed, there were just two thin mattresses placed on top of each other, which was never mentioned in the listing. On top of that, the shared kitchen was extremely dirty and unfit for use.

I had to reach out to Airbnb support to request a refund and alternative accommodation.

This place should not be listed until these serious problems are addressed. Very disappointing experience.

I have been staying in this hotel for two weeks. It's more like an Airbnb-style accommodation. The location is excellent, close to the Sky train and buses. The room is very clean. My only complaint is that the WiFi is not very stable. Otherwise, it's perfect for a short trip to Vancouver.

A friend and I booked this place to stay for two nights while we were in town for a tech expo. We chose this place because it was fairly priced and not too far from the convention center.||It turned out to be a bait and switch scam - the photos typically shown do not accurately reflect the properties we were shown at all. They portray a reasonable B&B, but what we saw was more like a hostel in an underdeveloped country.||It was an old, poorly kept house, and a woman met us in the living room with a stack of papers from different travel sites. When she found my booking she said they had "triple-booked" the room, and it was occupied. They never tried to contact me about this. She apologized, and said that the "manager" was on his way over to pick us up and take us to another house where they had a room.||We weren't OK with this and asked for the address so we could go check it out ourselves. She offered to refund our stay if we didn't like it. When we got there we found a similar situation, though this one was very stinky, like a restaurant kitchen + cigarette smoke, and there were a bunch of people working in the kitchen. As we walked to the bedroom a couple of them started following us.||We peeked inside the bedroom and it was just empty except for two old metal frame beds with thin foam mattresses, and a fan sitting on a chair. No dressers, no fridge/microwave/coffee like you'd find anywhere else. We excused ourselves and called the first woman back to proceed with the refund and she agreed, but two days later I still needed to follow up with Expedia because she had not.

이 숙소가 이름을 평점이 너무 낮아서인지 Broadway guest house로 새로 바꿨습니다. 위치는 최고입니다 지하철타고 어디든 벤쿠버를 다닐 수 있으니까요. 호스트가 중국인이고 중국인들 사이에서는 평이 좋으나 괜찮은 호스텔 생각하시면 안됩니다. 객실 침구는 괜찮지만 객실자체가 너무 낡았는데 수리가 안되어 있고 공용주방의 망가진 스토브하며 주방의 위생상태는 최악입니다. 아무 것도 만지고 싶지 않을 정도로... 관리를 잘하면 참 괜찮은 호스텔이 될 것같은데...동네도 참 좋거든요... 아쉽습니다

Cozy old house, room was nice and warm and clean. Five blocks from the BC Cancer Agency at 600 West 10th, and the same distance from the the Broadway-City Hall Skytrain station. Easy walking distance.
Suited me just fine, and the owner upgraded my room (no charge).
I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

From the moment you arrive at this dilapidated den you are struck by the intense eye-watering aroma of cat urine; so strong that it permeates throughout every inch of the property. The rooms themselves are akin to the setting of the original SAW film - they are cramped, sterile and falling apart. There were stains and graffiti on the walls, heating that no longer worked, flickering lights and the sink was detached from the bathroom wall. Not only this but the owner has a set of keys for each room and uses them without care. She entered my locked room without so much as a whisper or a knock as I was sleeping. How this place is in business I have no idea. Do yourself a favour and book accomodation literally anywhere else. Step outside, throw a frisbee and hope whoever’s yard it lands in has a spare room at the inn. If this “guesthouse” was the only place in Vancouver I would sleep under a bridge instead, and it would be much the same experience. 0/10.

Nice people. Unfortunately cockroaches were in our room, mostly the restroom and some smaller ones in the common kitchen area. We killed a few.

It's a nice place with nice folks running it, in a great location. It's just that the roaches kind of ruin the vibe.
