Je suis allé à la soirée hebdomadaire des étudiants en échange, c'est sympa ça permet de rencontrer plein de gens de tout horizons. En revanche la musique n'est pas toujours extraordinaire... enfin c'est un histoire de goûts, et on se sent souvent un peu bousculé car c'est petit.

I ate dinner here twice in a row and both meals were excellent. The decor is nice, the servers are great, and everything seems to be thoughtfully prepared with high quality ingredients. On the first night I had a big salad, which was tasty and healthy, with lots of avocado, croutons, and other good stuff. On the second night I had a shrimp sushi roll that was really nicely prepared. Highly recommended if you are at UBC.

I have had the pleasure to DJ many weddings at this affordable venue. The space is clean and bright. The garden for ceremony is beautiful too and the food is amazing. Service is always on point and super friendly 🙂

Went there for the grad students meeting and absolutely loved it! The place was packed with vibrant people which gave such an energetic atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and contributed to the experience. The beers were great and the burger I had was good enough – not very large but also not expensive.

We had our wedding at Koerner's Pub two weekends ago and we are beyond happy with the venue and how everything turned out! Caroline did such a great job with communication throughout the whole process and making whatever we wanted to do a reality. When we first booked, they said they're very flexible and can customize our wedding however we liked, and they really meant it! We added a signature cocktail a couple of months before the wedding and they made it happen with no hesitation. We are just blown away by how accommodating they are. We wanted a cozy, intimate, laid back wedding with the ceremony on the open patio and a cocktail style reception with canapes, platters and food stations and they more than delivered on that. The outdoor space is just beautiful surrounded by the tall trees, the atmosphere inside was absolutely perfect and the food was delicious! Our guests raved about everything! I could not recommend Koerner's Pub enough!

Koerner’s pub is my go to for the BEST vegan tacos in the city! 🤤🌮 As a tasty side dish, be sure to order their yummy fries smothered in vegan mushroom gravy - truly heavenly! 😋 The prices and portions are very fair as well. The staff is always super warm and welcoming, and I greatly enjoy the pub ambience as well as the large patio surrounded by the lush greenery and mature trees. On a side note, be sure to check in advance to see if the pub is open as sometimes they host special events and will close for the day. This place is truly a hidden gem!
