Les chambres puent la cigarettes. Litterie, tapis, meubles et autres installations sont laides et désuètes. 110$ la nuit pour une chambre de 2 lits doubles. Situé dans un tout petit village, il n'y a que la forêt autour et très peu de services.

Room was clean, however the bed in room 6 was quite lumpy. Also the shower is very dangerous. I ran the water to start the shower, and after I got in, extremely hot water was pouring out of the tub spot even though the diverter was in the position for the shower. Had warm water coming out of the shower nozzle but pure hot water burned my feet..I slipped but didn't get too damaged...just a bang on my hip.

Checked into a room Friday July 26th 2024 to find it fairly dirty, with stains on the bathroom counters and walls. There was also a dirty rag left underneath one of the beds, and the bed side lights did not work. The sheets were fairly dirty and while inspecting the beds further we found a giant blood stain underneath a mattress on the box spring. It's clear someone had tried to hide it/clean it up as there was a white hotel towel laid on top of it. I brought it up to the owners who tried to write it off as a rust stain from the springs, and seemed to have no interest in doing anything to rectify the situation.

It's a shame as I've stayed here many times in the past with nothing but great experiences. I noticed on this visit there is no longer a continental breakfast voucher at the family restaurant in town, but the room price has increased.

I would not advise staying here.

I should have trusted my instincts when the owner made us pay before seeing the room, instead of at checkout like any non-fraudulent hotel.||||The place reeked of Indian food.||||The room was gross.||||There were signs of bed bugs (sheddings- we've dealt with bed bugs before.)||||I asked for a refund and he refused.||||He showed me another room with a "brand new mattress" that was stained. And the lamps didn't work.||||I asked for a refund again and he refused again.||||He said, "These are Sealy mattresses, world famous!"||||He then took me outside and got a threatening, long-term, homeless-looking resident to "vouch" for the hotel. He immediately swore at me.||||I said I was deeply uncomfortable having my toddler and pregnant wife stay there.||||He said I would get my refund from Booking.com||||Turns out he was lying.||||My young family didn't arrive home until 3AM and were robbed of $168. 🙁

I didn’t want to leave a bad review because I love this small community so much and always have a nice time when I visit. However, it’s the second time I stayed in this place, and I think some things need to be brought up.

Firstly, when I called to book a few weeks ago, the owner did not tell me the price. I assumed it was $107 per night as shown on the website. He told me there would be a $100-dollar deposit because of the dogs, which is fine. He said that the dogs had to be crated in the room since it was a newly renovated room. Again, all fine, since my dogs are crated indoors.

We walk into the room, and I could not see why this was considered newly renovated. The room smelled musty, and it was freezing. The “new” laminate floors were freezing. Here were some of our issues:
-The room was heated with a space heater, that if you turned it up, it would shut off. It was not installed properly – the footings on the unit were very wobbly. It could easily fall over.
-The space heater was connected to an outlet that didn’t have a cover.
-There were two mirrors in the room just leaning against the wall. They were not secured or mounted. They were very dusty and dirty.
-The TV did not have any remote. We had to call to ask where the remote was and they had to get one from another room.
-The TV was installed inside a hole in the wall, next to the bathroom plumbing.
-The hot water did not work in the sink, we realized it was shut off underneath. When turning it on, it dripped from the sink.
-The bathtub and toilet looked unsanitary.
-We were only given two small towels, which smelled bad.
-The garbage cans had stuff spilled all over the sides.
-Someone came into our room while we were out?
-I used my hair dryer, and it tripped the power to our room.
-WIFI password was no where to be found; had to call about that too.
-There is a coffee machine, but no cups, no filter and no coffee.
-There are no curtains in the bathroom window

While packing up before checkout, we always check under the bed to make sure nothing got pushed underneath. It was disgusting. Very dirty, dusty, and there was old trim stored under there. There is really no excuse for this amount of filth. Laminate floors are very easy to keep clean!!!

I went to see my bank account and realized I was charged too much. The amount confused me because I thought the $100 deposit was added, which should have been deducted. I called and asked, and the owner said it was $127 per night and they didn’t add the deposit. I told him the website says $107. He said that was an old price and they “redid” the floors. He didn’t fix the price for me. Instead, he said he would give me a better price next time, which frankly, there won’t be a next time.

The rooms are just NOT worth that much. Even $107 is too much. Super disappointed.

I strongly feel that this place needs to be inspected. I can guarantee that there are many health and safety violations.

This used to be a funky place to stay, with murals on the walls. The cost is reasonable compared to other motels, but it is also much more basic. The bathroom caulking is dried and cracked, the bedding seems old and outdated; everything 'cheap'. Our room looked nothing like the pictures online. Very nice owner, but wouldn't stop again.
