Loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious! Its right beside the beach and has good views. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. My favourite was the tropical smoothie.

After a long wait to be seated on a Saturday night (no reservations), we were happy to get great seats and services. Our server Renee was one of the best servers I’ve had and we eat out a lot. She was pleasant, attentive and accommodating. Our food was tasty and atmosphere was fun.

I've been visiting Growling Gator for over 20 years. Their location, their food, their staff has always been amazing. Over the years, I've always had a great time on their patio and enjoyed the amazing view of the beach.
Sitting on their patio, enjoying the time with friends and seeing the amazing sunset in the horizon, is another thing that makes this place so special and dear to my heart
I wish the place and the staff nothing but the best, and know I will continue to keep visiting for years to come.

We stopped in here for a couple drinks by the beach. It has a cool look and atmosphere and lots of patio space. We had an excellent Jew of the beach close to sunset. We debated getting appetizers but it was just all deep fried. Perhaps it was the group we were next to but it was loud and obnoxious there. It does seem like a place that caters more to those wanting to go out and drink a lot.
As for the drinks, 2 normal sized margaritas end up costing us 40$ with a tip. I don’t feel like that drink was worth that.
If your young and want to go out and drink a lot in grand bend, this is your spot, but it’s going to cost you.

We enjoy coming to this restaurant for its great location. However, during our recent visit, we were bothered by a strong smell of weed despite the 'no smoking allowed' sign. The meals are well-portioned, tasty, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the fries. We ordered a kids' size, which was advertised at a lower price, but were charged more. While the size and price were not a big issue, over half of the fries were over-fried and hard to eat. On a positive note, our server was attentive and offered to exchange a drink that was too sweet. Overall, the experience was mixed.

It feels like you’re in the Caribbean we literally forgot we were in Canada when we were there, we had to come back the second day too. Love their drinks so much and the vibes. Their fries are so salty and delicious, they hit so good after a few drinks.

Yup! It’s normal eating ink! Yup It happens all the time that’s what waitress said that to us lol “IT IS NORMAL TO EAT INK! “ ( We were eating with our kids..) It was my first time to visit and I am very Disappointed. And she didn’t even serve the sour cream and salsa sauce lol I had to ask her to get the sauce and when i asked her, She looked like not even surprise. I mean seems like just didn’t give the sauces to us… ( she thought we probably doesn’t know about it or something lol) I think just because IT IS NORMAL TO HER That’s why 🙂
