What a great gym in our community, however the gym is not being cleaned. Eg. The treadmills have not been cleaned in at least two weeks, not sure why have mentioned this to counter ladies and still no action taken. This is a health and safety issue that needs to be reviewed by management.

Really decent arena. Clean locker rooms and stands. Running track had proper rubberizing on it, no assault track. Whole area is well kept.

Im a member at all four municipal gym/pools in the comox Valley. I rank this facility at dead last at 4 . Other than the gym is too small but workable ,the hot water is not hot, when the pool was closed down After my workout,I have a shower and the water was lukewarm at best. I was debating whether or not to enter the shower. I'm already here,I might as well and notified the staff which don't appear to be enjoying their duties.

Unfortunately I didn’t even use the facilities. The front desk ladies, who are the face of the facility and first point of contact are rude and disrespectful. I am sorry that I interrupted your gossip to ask you 3 questions about the facility, which by the way, I thought it was your job. Too bad that you are turning down customers with your poor attitude and your unwillingness to help newcomers.

Don't waste your money on skating here. It used to be so nice, but after the last couple of times I went becoming a disappointment I don't think I'll ever come back. Hockey players go frequently out of their zone on shared ice and put little ones in danger as they try and quickly skate out of the way of somebody skating backwards with a puck. Skate staff don't do anything if you break the rules and it leads to chaos. Once I tried to switch skates as the blades of the rentals were too dull and they rolled their eyes at me. I used to go all the time and it's too bad they've gone downhill.

Classic hockey rink. ?

It hasn't changed much in the last decade.

The water works in all of the changeroom showers and drinking fountains, at least in February.

Skates for rent for all sizes, they are usually pretty old though and as you'd expect, it's best to use your own if you have a pair. ⛸️

The skating rink in Comox has skate sharpening, I don't think there is skate sharpening here.

For people new to skating, they have assistant tools to hold onto.
