It looks as though this is a rating on St Andrews the town itself as a whole? I won't be able to put into words fully on how amazing this little town is. There is a lot of amazing food options with some really talented chefs, great coffee shops, a fantastic micro brewery and gift shops. A lot of local talent in the town and places to visit as well. Amazing ocean views and whale watching. They have everything there, including tons of fantastic history!

Like the coastal scenery without the crowd, go visit St.Andrews a historic resort right 20 min from the US border ( Calais ME)

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in St. Andrew by the Sea. There were some very good restaurants, we enjoyed the Picket Fence Motel, where we stayed, and delighted exploring the area, particularly Minister's Island. I would be remiss if I failed to mention our delight when a doe wandered into the Picket Fence yard as we were sitting there and stared at us while we looked right back! Peaceful. Quiet. Scenic. Just what we were expecting.
