Rich art work, lovely hosts, great cat 😺🐈 close to the marina and entertainment. Fantastic breakfast for us (asparagus egg skillet, ham, fruite parfait, and coffee ☕) more then we had expected at a great quality level.

Jeanette and Ross are amazing hosts. The welcome to the Captain's House was warm and reassuring. The vintage decor and furniture were complimented by personal artworks and wonderful antiques to make us feel like we were staying in a relative's beautiful home. The rooms are large and pretty. Tea and coffee are available 24-hrs, and the breakfasts are home cooked, often using homegrown fruits and home-milled organic flour. We were truly spoiled with fine vintage tableware and linen napkins.
Jeanette and Ross made some helpful suggestions for places to see while in the midland area. We are so glad we followed Jeanette's advice to visit the quaint town of Cold Water, and eat at 'Em's.' It was a lovely detour on our way.

Our stay at this heritage place was truly unique, thanks to Ginette, and Ross. Their hospitality was outstanding, making us feel at home in the quaint and historical setting. Had a wonderful stay here during the long weekend! The hosts are unbelievably friendly and accommodating. Even woke up extra early to make us breakfast at 7am. The breakfast was delicious! Also very cyclist friendly. There is a secure place to store your bike.

Wonderful century old house, stunning interiors and Ross and Duchess are fine welcoming hosts. Being a bed and breakfast, I was very much looking forward to Ross, s Eggs Benidict and was not disappointed👍. The first time will not be my last. Remember when in Midland Ontario to visit the Captains Bed and Breakfast, you won't regret it by far.

Hands down the best BnB in Midland. Ross and Alicia are amazing hosts and wonderful people. The Captain's House is beautifully decorated with lots of period charm. If you're looking for a place on the Georgian Bay look no further.
