From what I was reading in the description I was under the impression that they had a lot of ready to eat which really isn't the case at all versus other grocery stores like Sobeys. They barely had 5 sandwiches there in the tiny ready to eat section.
Store is very nice and they have a lot of deli meats, meats and fish. The rest of the offering is like all other grocery stores.
Very disappointed in their ready to eat offering which from the description I thought they would have a huge variety and display.

Great selection of fresh foods and some of my family’s favourite sausages. Unfortunately,
I had the opportunity to meet the owner after I checked out and asked about the ingredients of the sausages as my grandson and I have anaphylactic allergies and there were no ingredients listed. His reply was “ they were not required to list them, as they are an independent store. “ I was surprised my his lack of concern or willingness to clarify for his customers.
Cashiers and Starbucks staff were awesome.

Here is the hot rod of supermarkets in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. Haven't made a sausage since I moved here because this place produces a very nice sausage. There's a lot of selection here of quality. But there's only one problem when you walk in the door and this is a big problem the smell of the lunch counter is overwhelming sausage pizza donuts it's incredible and a very good deals. I'm not a real doughnut eater but the maple donut is absolutely dynamite.

I’m originally from the Sault but usually only visit once per year from the Kawarthas. Every time up, we fill a cooler with meats, particularly sausages and Porketta to bring back….you just can’t get food and pricing like Pino’s have compared to where I live. I let my friends taste the sausage last year and when they knew I was going up, they put in their orders…..luckily I have a large cooler. The two young fellows who cashed me through were excellent….super friendly, loaded my cart back up and I was on my way in 20 minutes. I love this store and will always return.

Had such a horrible experience with a butcher, I'm considering never going back again. I'm staying somewhere with limited ways to cut chicken. I picked a pack of chicken breasts and went to the butcher at the counter and asked if they could cut them in small pieces for me. I've never had issues asking a butcher such task before in my life. It's what they've trained for.
First he was short with me. Asked me what I needed the small pieces for. I explained that I wanted to make a meal. He asked why I couldn't cut it myself, and I explained that I'm staying somewhere with no real kitchen. He said they don't do that. To never go back again to ask. Said he was gonna do it. He proceeded to cut it, but when I explained what I needed he said no. That I wasting his time. I was left speechless at the rudeness. A man, dressed in a butcher white coat, refusing the help a customer with a butcher related task. I felt so bad and shocked I took the chicken cut the wrong way and left. I had heard of Pino's being a superior grocery store. Absolutely not. Not when it comes to good service!

Recently I have been paying closer attention to where my groceries are coming from. Sadly, the produce section at Pino’s does not do a good job at supporting Canadian farmers.

When compared to other grocery stores in the area, they could be doing a lot better at sourcing fresh local produce.
