This was the Lure Washers second visit to the lodge. We went 5 years ago. The lodge has had a considerable amount of upgrades done! The new owners, Ron and Cheryl are fantastic and very knowledge about the history of the area as well as fishing. We lost track of our fish count, but well over 100 and that wasn't fishing hard by any means. Ron knows the spots and times. One of the highlights was a portage with 2 HP motors to Pike Lake. It was secluded and the pike were on fire! Ron even flew his drone to take aerial shots of us while we were there. Their son Logan handled any request we had and is a solid work horse. Another highlight for us anyway, was the three dogs! Bullet, Delta and Luna! We lucked out with the weather, but it was hot!!! May 27-Jun 4 which brought out the mosquitos in the morning and evening. Rest assured, all our windows were open and they weren't coming in which was a relief!! The cabins are well stocked with all your needs met! .. peculator coffee pot, sharp knives, new Rock pans etc.. Can't say enough, other that we re-booked for next year! Check out their FB page to see a few videos Ron posted from our trip.|Lure Washers.

Just returned from a week long stay at White Pine Lodge. After 10 years of annual fishing trips to another local resort and consistently declining service my group decided to try another venue. We booked the light house cottage and two boats for our stay. The accommodations were comfortable, the boats and motors were were well kept, the scenery was beautiful and the service provided by John and Lorraine was excellent. John and Lorraine are kind, gracious hosts and do their best to ensure their guests are looked after. We caught some fish, had lots of laughs, unplugged and decompressed. A good time, in a beautiful location.

My wife and I just returned from White Pine Lodge. We stayed for a week, July 4-11 2015 in the Osprey cabin. The cabin was very clean and truly a place I would love to spend the whole summer. It has a great shaded porch overlooking the river. ||||We caught plenty of pike, walleye, smallmouth bass, rockbass up to 12" long and perch. The water is clear with a rocky bottom in most places. We went up to Lady Evelyn Lake on the last day and had great fishing there too. There is a great picnic spot on the East end of the sand eskers. It has a nice sandy beach with pine trees to make some shade. Beautiful! It beats the ocean any day!||||The hosts John and Loraine are really nice people. They immediately took care of anything we needed including loading and carrying all of our belongings up to the cabin. Loraine even baked us a fantastic apple pie one evening.||||We highly recommend the camp and will return in the future. ||||Jay and Kim

This is an absolutely incredible vacation spot. The owners could not be nicer or more helpful or friendly. The cabins they offer our immaculate, cozy, and extremely inviting. The kitchens have fully functional stove and refrigerator, along with a gas grill outside. and for the cold nights they provide fireplaces or some sort of heating in each cabin. The fishing is second to none, no matter what time of year you go. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful no matter the time of year.

We stayed for 3 nights with my husband and parents in September 2014 in the Eagle Cottage and had a wonderful time. The setting is truly breathtaking with scenic views over the lake especially in the mornings and at sunset. The cottages are rustic with a lot of character and are well equipped (be prepared for a compost toilet and limited hours of electricity). The fishing in the area is good and the hosts John and Lorraine were lovely and met our every need. I would highly recommend this lodge if you are looking for a rustic getaway with great hosts, views, fishing and no distractions from everyday life (there is no phone signal or internet).

This was a great Northern Ontario wilderness lodge. Lorraine and John are fantastic hosts and are working tirelessly everyday to keep it pristine. Boats, docks, cabins, are all in incredible condition and are well taken care of. We enjoyed our stay at the LOON cabin which was right on the water, private dock and incredible views. This lodge is the perfect spot for anyone seeking a northern getaway. ||I feel it's fair to highlight some details that may surprise some guests and could catch you off guard and unprepared.||This is a remote, simple, wilderness lodge. Just the basics apply.||There is power to the cabins between 7pm and 10pm only. go out and enjoy the river!||Pack drinking water. ||Ice is available for purchase in the tackle shop.||There are propane lights fixed to the walls for night lighting.||Fridge and Stove run on propane.||The toilets are dry composting toilets, they're not offensive at all, just not the typical flush style you're used to.||Pack essentials like garbage bags, paper towel, dish soap.||The kitchens are stocked with a wide range of basic cookware items, just don't expect a fancy garlic press or anything.||The cabins are on the opposite side of the river from where you park your vehicle.||John has a huge boat and helps you load and unload right from your trunk to your cabin.||Bring a fishfinder! You need to mark fish. There is a lot of water to cover, this will ensure you don't waste your time on a cold spot.||You must pay in CASH, no internet/data signal, no wifi, just awesome wilderness to enjoy.||Thanks Lorraine and John for an amazing week!
