Horrible service .
Wanted to try a new place since moving to Parkland. Made an appointment, terrible French tip manicure I have ever received. Had to wait 45 minutes afterwards to get pedicure. Wanted to get hang nails checked/fixed. Literally so painful and didn't get hang nails. Hurt so much afterwards. Once apparent pedicure done had to wait another 10 minutes as tech couldn't do french tip.

The nail tech was very friendly and did a good job. I loved the little hand massage that she gave me at the end of my manicure. If I lived in spruce grove this would be my new regular nail salon.

The service was awful, the guy constantly got up and left and constantly answered phone calls, he made my nails crooked, I added photos of the nails I wanted and what he gave me, I asked him to fix it he acted annoyed, he PICKED COLOURS for me without asking and when I said “no do you have burgundy” he threw a tiny book my way and said “choose” and walked away, the girls I came with had numerous colours to choose from and I did not because of him, he didn’t even paint the nails fully (as seen in the photos) and when he messed up on the ring fingers, I showed him the picture of the design and tried explaining it to him, he said he didn’t understand, I picked out a gold sparkly nail polish, he ignored it and dipped my nail in a full sparkle box and called it good and then WHEN HE MADE ONE NAIL SHORTER THAN THE OTHER BY A MILE I pointed it out to him and asked him to fix it HE FILED DOWN THE TIP AND ADDED AN ADDITIONAL FAKE NAIL ON TOP OF THE ALREADY FAKE NAIL THAT WAS ON MY NAIL. I’ve never had this in the 10 years I’ve been having my nails done. You can see in the last photo of the “additional” fake nail that he added onto my already fake nail.

I recently moved to spruce grove, I’ve been looking for a good nail salon I took my chances & decided to come here. It was a bad decision on my part. First of all let me add that I called on Wednesday & booked my appointment for Friday at 5pm. I read a couple of reviews & learned that Tom & Wendy are the owners they had good reviews, so I called to book my appointment specifically for Tom or Wendy. I show up at 5pm on Friday. Nobody gives me a book of colours to choose from like any other salon would? By the looks of it Tom had just started working on someone, so I assumed I’d be seen by Wendy, then this lady comes in two minutes after me & says she has an appointment with Wendy at 5? I was really confused so I just waited patiently. About 5 minutes go by & Tom went to the back to get an older Asian lady & he called me over to her. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails & what colours I wanted, right away she looks at the blue colour & says we don’t have that colour? I looked up & I saw about 20 different shades of blue on their wall of nail polish. Tom had come over to get the colour of blue I wanted. 10 minutes go by we get to the nail colouring & designing. I show her a picture of the colours I want & the marble design. She was really hesitant on the nails I was paying her to do she at one point said it was an ugly design. I’ve had my nails done for over a year now at an amazing salon in Edmonton so I do get a little over the top with my designs. But if I’m paying you to do my nails I want you to do my nails how I say. Anyways I wasn’t going to argue with her to do my nail design the way I wanted so I left it. Now we get onto the marble design she did for me she said the marble won’t look like the picture so I said that’s fine I wasn’t counting on it, once she’s finished the marble design it literally looked like someone went over my nail with a fine point sharpie & scribbled, I voiced my opinion & told her I didn’t like it so she took it off & just recoloured them there original colours. I felt bad for that part so I did give her a $5 tip for waste of product. After that Tom must of heard that I didn’t like the marble so he came over & did it perfectly. As soon as I got home I noticed she didn’t shape my nails like a square it’s more of a triangle square which I’m not happy with I asked for a French manicure on four nails & the white part doesn’t cover up my natural tip of my nail so it looks really bad. As for the designs she said were ugly, I wanted a gold triangle on my middle finger & a gold line on the French manicure to kind of pull the whole look together & she refused to do it. Pictures below to see what I’m taking about. I always go to a highly rated nail salon in Edmonton & get the best work in so posh nails it was on the top 15 best nail salons in Edmonton, that place really puts this place to shame hands down. I’m very disappointed with the treatment & the overall work I had done on my nails. I will not go back here & I do not recommend anyone going here either.

What a nice place ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ the atmosphere is very light and feminine and demure! I’ve only seen two techs so far and both were fantastic and gave me exactly what I asked for! The pricing isn’t too bad either! It’s a touch more than places like Binhs, but I’d say it is worth it there!

I paid $55 for her to ONLY redo my gel nails, but she also painted on a sunflower on my middle fingers. She let me know before she started as well that it would be about $50 and I told her that was fine.

I think I’ve found my new favourite go-to salon!

This salon is the best in Spruce Grove locally owned by a beautiful family. If you’re looking for more than just a nail salon a place to go relax and be pampered this is the spot amazing selection outstanding quality of work great hours and great prices. Been going for nearly 3 years love my lavis
