Very solid, delicious food. All the dishes we ordered were amazing, great portions and I thought the prices were more than fair. Super quick service. I was worried reading some of the other reviews, but it is 100% better than Sobeys

We ordered shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, and everything was delicious! My kids and I really loved it. The portions were generous, the prices were very affordable, and the food tasted fresh. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

We stopped by China Diner for dinner after a day at the lake and really enjoyed it! The music at first gave off a spa vibe which made us laugh 🤣 but it actually made the place feel calm and cozy.

We tried the Dinner for 2 ($40) and thought it was a great deal for the portion sizes. Everything was tasty — especially the chicken fried rice, ginger beef, mixed veggies, and wonton soup.

We also met Michelle, our fellow kababayan 🥰 She was so friendly and accommodating😊

Overall, such a lovely dining experience — we’d happily give it 5 stars

I gave China Diner a try last night and unfortunately the experience matched what I had heard about the place. I placed a simple order for pick up ordering off their online menu. This took a while as the person on the phone obviously was not familiar with the menu. The staff was friendly and the place looked fairly clean although dated but the food was not good at all. I had ordered Ginger Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork, both items were absolutely covered in thick batter and aside from the lousy sauces I could not tell one meat from the other. The Szechuan noodles were overcooked and completely without flavour.
I rated the food 2 out of 5 because it was bad but didn't actually make me sick. Seriously the Ginger Chicken and Sweat & Sour pork are better at Sobeys. I also found the food to be over priced given it's quality which is lower then you would find in a mall food court.
Friends told me this place was bad but I had a craving and they are the only Chinese food place in town.

We ordered takeout, dinner for 6 with a few added dishes and unfortunately someone mistook an 81 for an 87 in the kitchen. We called and they made it right without any fuss. Delivered the proper dish to us out in a summer village, and in only about 20 minutes! This is our second order so far this year, and both have been really good food, much better than it was 3-4 years ago. Not too sure what has changed, but if you haven't tried them for a while its definitely worth another shot!

We ate in the restaurant tonight. The ladies were so friendly when we came in. The restaurant was extremely clean. The food was quick to arrive after we ordered and was absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend!!

We used to love this place before new ownership but because of the multiple price increases, depreciating food portions AND quality - I would recommend going somewhere else. Really is a shame 😔
