A Bright Spot in the Community

From the moment you walk in, it’s clear why the Lighthouse Community Eatery is such a busy place. It’s spacious, full of life, and served by a team who are genuinely friendly and attentive. My iced tea was refreshing, the food was reasonably priced, and every bite was a reminder of the care they put into their menu.

The ribs were absolutely delicious—tender and flavorful—served with perfectly done potatoes and a fresh salad. And if you still have room for dessert, their chocolate ice cream cake is the kind of treat you’ll want to remember.

A place like this reminds us that good food is more than a meal—it’s a way of bringing people together. In a world that can feel divided, may we all be reminded of this truth: “Encourage each other and build each other up” (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Here’s to the Lighthouse continuing to shine in this community. Wishing them the very best.

We have a celiac family member and the amount of quality options at this restaurant were phenomenal. The tables and environment were extremely clean. The mocktails were delicious (pomegranate strongly recommended). The service was very good as well. The only item we noticed was as almost all the front of house staff was female, the mens room could have been cleaned better. My husband did let a server know but again if there are not many/any males available to upkeep the bathrooms it is understandable on a busy day like father’s day.

I would recommend a reservation as a lot were available however it seemed to pick up a lot around 6pm.

There is a kids menu with drink and dessert included.

If you're a fan of bold flavors and a memorable dining experience, this place is a must-visit! As someone who's been to countless restaurants around the city, I can honestly say this spot stands out for all the right reasons.
We started with the mussels in a rose sauce, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous it would be like a bland tomato soup. But boy, was I wrong! The sauce was rich and flavorful, complementing the mussels perfectly. Then we moved on to the shrimp pesto and short ribs – and let me tell you, I did a happy dance at the table. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, the pesto was vibrant and fresh, and the short ribs? Melt-in-your-mouth goodness!
The atmosphere was cozy, inviting, and the service was top-notch. Every detail from the ambiance to the flavors was spot on. It’s clear that the chefs here know what they’re doing, and they’ve created something special.
Definitely one of the best restaurants in Sylvan Lake – don’t miss out on this gem! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing dinner at Lighthouse Eatery the other day! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that left us fully satisfied. From the tasty appetizers to the mouth-watering main courses, everything was top-notch. Great place! Excellent service! Camille was awesome as our server! My steak was done perfectly without any gristle or sinew. My wife's salmon was also perfect. The rest of the nicely varied menu looked good, too, and we might go back again since we have a few more days in town.

Great friendly service I had the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was delicious. You can always tell the difference when the ingredients are made in-house! It's worth trying! Lasagna has lost cheese and a good sauce.
