Love this place! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable from picking out a surf board to helping you get your boat out of the water. We come out a few times a week and our experience has always been wonderful. You can pick up some last minute bags of ice for your boat or grab one of their ice coffees before you head out on the water. They also offer surf lessons by the hour which is pretty cool too, a real one stop shop there. We will definitely be back next year! Thanks for a great summer, see you next year!

We recently traveled a long distance to Sylvan Lake with the intention of enjoying a family fun day on the water. Unfortunately, our experience at the boat launch was deeply disappointing and fell far short of reasonable expectations for customer service.

Upon arrival, we were met in the parking lot by a staff member who spoke to my wife in a manner that was unnecessarily unpleasant and disrespectful. This was not only discouraging but also inappropriate, especially in front of other guests.

We had been informed that for approximately $50, trailer parking would be included. However, after paying, we were given a map and told to locate a spot ourselves. This process was unorganized and unhelpful, and we ultimately had to park four blocks away. While the attendants at the till were polite, the overall system and support were lacking.

When we inquired about where to park our second vehicle, no guidance was offered. Later, when we asked about alternative boat launches, the same staff member dismissively told us to “just Google it.” Such a response demonstrated little regard for customer experience or professional courtesy.

As we were already behind schedule, we reluctantly proceeded with launching our boat. However, this experience left us feeling disrespected, frustrated, and dissatisfied. We had hoped for a positive family outing, but instead we encountered a lack of professionalism, organization, and care.

We sincerely hope that management will address these issues so that future guests are treated with the respect and assistance they deserve.

Probably the best experience a beginner like me could I ask for. Brand new to boating, our family with our new wake board boat did not know what to expect. the launch was welcoming accommodating and extremely helpful.
Hayden literally saved my boat, she’s knows her stuff.
The staff were all awesome patient and very helpful. Never felt rushed and was met with smiles every day. The weak pass saves you money.

We went to The Launch to look at wake surf boards. Scott and Hayden were very knowledgeable and super helpful. The discussed with us the pros and cons of each board and how the different boards would ride. Excellent service! I was pleased to find out their price was very competitive. They even came in less than the big online stores. Would definitely recommend:)

I had always had an incredible experience at The Launch, the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in the store and on the gas dock. Scott and Serina go above and beyond to ensure I find the perfect product and to accommodate my needs. They also have a fantastic store with everything you need for your boat, from life jackets and boards to boat cleaning supplies. Their passion for what they do is evident, and I highly recommend checking them out!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our first time at this launch will also be our last, and it’s all because of the appalling behavior of a female red-haired staff member who claimed to be the owner. From the moment I tried to get clarity, she spoke to me in the most degrading, disrespectful way imaginable — loud enough for everyone around to hear, which was humiliating and completely unnecessary.

To make matters worse, she happily took the launch fee at first, only to turn around afterward and say we couldn’t use the launch because we had rentals. Apparently, there’s some “new policy” — but instead of explaining this upfront, she blindsided us after payment and then doubled down with an attitude that was nothing short of insulting.

The way she handled herself was unprofessional, arrogant, and downright rude. No business owner (or staff member) should ever treat paying customers this way. What should have been an enjoyable day turned into a discouraging, embarrassing ordeal. We will never return, and I strongly urge others to think twice before wasting their time or money here.

Very nice boat launch! Very expensive as well..... so much so that we left and went back home to our boat launch 30 min away. I guess this place would like to price themselves out of the market for the working class person..... the staff was friendly and polite, no issues at all. Just the price is a bit much for a guy who only makes $120,000 a year
