We made the trip to Vegreville today to visit the fair. We stopped and ate lunch at the diner which I believe opened in June of this year. Upon entry we were quickly greated by one of the servers and seated at our table. We sat down and could see that the restaurant was quite full with some folks enjoying themselves.

Very soon after our drink order was placed we saw one of the Chef/Owners come out and speak to several of the tables. He came over and greated us at our table and highlighted some of the dishes on the menu, a nice touch! We all chose something different, my son ordered the Ukrainian plate and we later found out from one of the other owners who came to our table that this was their number one dish. My daughter is a vegetarian and we were so impressed with the significant amount of options for her. She ate the lettuce wraps and really enjoyed them.

We were really impreseed by the overall operation, friendliness of the staff/owners and the value we received for lunch. We hope that this business thrives and will definitely be back when we visit Vegreville next to support them based on this amazing experience.

This is hands down the best place to eat in Vegerville. Whether you go in the evening with your family or you go for lunch with coworkers it is the best. Colorful, clean, welcoming! The chef is so fun and will come out to meet you! There is food for everyone's taste: Ukranian, German, English, Mexican, Indian and more! We had samosas and nachos, butter chicken and the white sauce pasta!! Delicious 🤤

Good food nice atmosphere i love there Ukrainian palater and its very huge . The server was so kind I didn’t know her name but she was so nice thank you for everyone who provided me good food 👍👍🙏

Ordered twice now from there first time my order was over 100 dollars and they messed it all up , we didn’t complain as the had just opened and we didn’t want to give a bad review or complain so early , and now this time 60 dollars .
Ordered online 52 mins ago , club sandwich and fries on white bread , they sent the sandwich all apart all over the container , with brown bread all squished . Kids spaghetti was less that a quarter full again thrown together , and I ordered chicken nachos , it never even came . When I called to have it rectified , the lady who answered said she isn’t the boss or cook so she doesn’t know what to do . Then she put me on hold while she “asks her boss” comes back on the phone saying she doesn’t know what to do …. Her boss isn’t there but she will give me her bosses phone number …… what the hell ?!? Finally she agreed to send me some food ….. smh I will not order from here again . Once my husband pieced his soggy brown bread sandwich together he ate it as he didn’t want to wait another 50 mins. What a huge disappointment TWICE!
UPDATE : the owner called and apologized himself , he then made my order again and sent it out and delivered it himself , whoever cooked it ( I’m guessing the owner ) did a great job on the redo , the sandwich was great , full and perfect , the nachos were amazing and filling and the portion was perfectly amazing . Included a pic . Also he gave us a bonus of chicken wings , not sure what flavour it was but amazing !!! Thank you to the owner for fixing this .

I am from Edmonton last weak we went Vegreville diner we were surprised food was so delicious specially there veg patties burgers and veg pizza I love it thanks guys you’re hospitality 👍👍

Recently dined at the Vegreville Diner. It was fairly busy at 1:30 pm on a Friday. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the Share and Care Appetizer- which was all very tasty and the portion size was very good. I would eat here again.

Stopped in at Vegreville Diner for lunch and was seriously impressed with their steak sandwich lunch special. The steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, tender, full of flavor and a generous portion of fries, it hit the spot. The portion size was more than fair for the price, and the service was friendly and fast. Classic diner vibes with good comfort food done right. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through or live nearby. I’ll be back for that steak sandwich again!

Had the fish and chips at Vegreville Diner and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The fish was perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. The batter had great seasoning without being too heavy, and the fries were hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. It came with tartar sauce, a lemon wedge, and coleslaw that was crisp, creamy, and refreshing—perfect for balancing out the fried goodness. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even better. Definitely a go-to spot in town for classic comfort food done right!
