The muffins are so yummy!

I tried the oatmeal apple muffin, and it was absolute perfection!

It wasn't overly sweet and perfectly spiced, which is important to me. It was very moist, and yet substantial. It was massive!

**Update**

I went back again and got the Morning Glory muffin and it was sooooooooooo flavour, giant, and yummy! Biggest muffin top ever! *Insert fat joke here*

I wish I had taken a better pic of the muffin once I unwrapped it, but I was too excited!

Last 3 times chicken was burnt and the last time I found flies in my food. Hoped it would get better because it was honestly good before. This last time the chicken was just wildly burnt to hand out and I had the pleasure of finding deep dried flies in my food. I won't be ordering again.
***answer from the store is nonsense. There were flies that were definitely in the food. I wasn't the only person who saw this. I also am not doing this to be negative. I really liked the chicken and wanted to have more but the last two times I got it the chicken wasn't good and the last time the flies were in my food. Between that and selling expired products I would not recommend. Do better business or watch it as it fails.

Forget it. This place is just a convenience store now. No sandwiches or food. Why they still keep a ‘Deli’ sign out front is beyond me.

New ownership, old signs/menus still up and the only sandwich being made is a “Korean pulled pork sandwich” that’s definitely pre packaged & microwaved.

I don’t want to be racist but this shopkeeper was asian. We went there with our son for ice cream and also was looking for washroom. He told us to buy the ice cream first and then use the washroom. I agreed on that but he just made me mad by saying close the freezer u can look at them from outside. I was taking ice cream anyways may be there was 2 seconds waiting period for me to choose. I came out of the shop immediately for his extreme rude behaviour. He was behaving like we were thief. Is that how you behave with your customers? Please be gentle and kind. Last of all he showed us hand to get out of his shop. Dude we are not beggars. I felt so humiliated. I probably not coming back to this city as we came for a vacation. But really u are ruining this places image and your food reviews also adds up. Best of luck.

The bread is the best in Town and the staf is so kind and friendly, she even brings her own bags in to make things easy on you. The Cheese bread is to die for.

We stopped in Bancroft on our way to Ottawa and were happy to see that there was a deli/ bakery in town. We all got the Korean pulled pork sandwich it was very tasty and warmed us right up. We also snagged some freshly baked cookies for the road. Zehr's has that old world charm of a family ran business. the owner was kind and helpful and friendly. We will be stopping in again our next road trip.

Shelley and Natalie are great to deal with. It is a small shop worthy of our support. The fried chicken rivals KFC and the Coconut Cream Pie and Peanut Butter cookies are in short supply because they are delicious. Out of self-interest, I should probably downplay the coconut cream pie.
