Grabbed some espresso beans for my own machine at home and WOW. Rivals the best coffees I had in NZ which is saying something. Highly recommend for espresso lovers. Hadn't been in years and years and not since I became an espresso fan. Now I see I've been missing out! Top spot in Guelph for sure.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stop in here today for our coffee. Coffee black was delicious.
If you like your coffee, you know, you can't drink it black if it's not good coffee. Also had a homemade granola bar, with tahini, spread on top.😋
Service was awesome and friendly and helpful.
Washrooms were clean.
The only thing I would have liked, which is just a personal preference...
Is cozy cushioning seating. This would take it over the top.

We were looking for a place to have great coffee before the Donkey Sanctuary opened for the afternoon and found Cavan Coffee. We ordered a cappuccino and a latte and 2 blueberry scones. We were served by the owner. I believe his name was Jer. He made us 2 excellent coffees and the scones were delicious. I highly recommend Cavan Coffee for discerning coffee lovers.

This spot is such a vibe and the menu is currated so thoughtfully! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and was pleasantly surprised to find my icecubes were literally coffee so my beverage never got watered down. Super delicious. Definitely will be coming back to hang around and do some work next time

Atmosphere: It is a very quiet place to study.

Food/Drink comments: I can't comment on their coffee or drinks because I didn't have any. I purchased an assortment of their treats. I came here because I noticed the Stefani cookie from Killer Cupcakes in one of the pictures of the reviewers of Cavan Coffee on Google Maps. Cavan Coffee sells desserts mostly sourced from Killer Cupcakes and With the Grain. However, it seems that the desserts aren't delivered daily because the Billionaire cookie wasn't fresh, and I noticed it because I am a huge fan of Killer Cupcakes. The worker said that Killer Cupcakes was making a delivery to their place the next day (Tuesday), so it sounded like it isn't a daily delivery. Some of Cavan's desserts are baked in-house. According to their employee, they are in the process of hiring an in-house baker.

Vegan: They have a vegan Monster cookie.

Types of Dining: Indoor and takeout.

Parking: They have free parking in their parking lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessible spots right in front of their store.

Other: They have a high chair for babies.

Adorable coffee shop. This to me isn't a grab and run type of place. You need to get a tea or coffee and stay there to get the full feeling of being in a cozy establishment. Get a pour over and watch the coffee being made in front of you. Different beans to choose from and a great variety of teas as well. Whether reading a book, chatting with friends or working on school work, the atmosphere is ready for you to enjoy. When you walk in you also see the people you are supporting. Must go!!!!

What a great spot. Super discreet. Even once I entered the plaza, I had to kinda look for it. I’m glad I came up from Burlington to try the spot.

Atmosphere, perfect for a coffee shop, bright, old mixed with new, love the local art work displayed that is available for purchase.

Coffee roasting is done on site.

The staff on site including the owner are clearly having fun with what they are doing and it shows.

I spent about 30-40 mins on site drinking my americano and chatting with the owner. Lots of regulars coming in. Great vibes.

If you like coffee, go visit. If you need a good atmosphere to go work, go visit. Hanging out with friends, go visit. Meeting someone? Go visit.

A place to really try the wide range of what coffee has to offer. From a drip coffee to a premium pour-over, or a delicious espresso, there’s something for everyone. The staff are very kind and have cultivated a place of community and familiarity. With a rotating selection of beans, ephemeral in many ways, there’s an ever increasing opportunity to expand the horizons of coffee’s offerings.
