Excellente expérience ! Les makis Avocado et Mango Jango (avec le thon en remplacement du yam) étaient délicieux et d’une grande fraîcheur. J’ai particulièrement apprécié les nombreuses options sans gluten, y compris la sauce soya. Le personnel a pris le temps de m’avertir que le yam était pané et m’a offert une alternative, ce que j’ai trouvé très attentionné. Un service remarquable et une belle sensibilité aux besoins alimentaires !

We ordered the Salmon Avo roll, Black Ninja roll, and Yam Tempura roll. All were impressively fresh, with a clean taste and a well-balanced rice-to-fish ratio. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, making for a satisfying sushi experience.

This place is a standout star in Prince Rupert. I highly highly highly recommend! My roommate and I have been here several times and every time the staff has been so lovely and accommodating, the food is always delicious (can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the Pokè is my absolute favorite!). The seafood tastes so fresh, and coming from Vancouver, that's a huge compliment! I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you love sushi!

I've been going to Opa for a few years whenever in Rupert, and I always looked forward to their delicious hefty rolls. Unfortunately over the past year, perhaps it's under different management, but the rolls have become TINY. Just spent > $30 on 2 specialty rolls (which looked beautiful and bountiful on the menu of course), and this is what I got. Disappointed 😞

PS - it's interesting that all the recent reviews are 5 stars, and the restaurant reports any low-star reviews... Invitation for the owner to respond on this review.

Stopped off here on Alaskan cruise, stumbled across Opa Sushi and decided to give it a try. Great atmosphere and sushi - definitely out of the way but if you have a chance you don’t want to miss this one.

Nice persons run this restaurant.
Food is below average but they work hard to get the best out of this .
Very basic sushi in small town.
No taste of any authenticity.
Yet , fresh and didn’t get sick .
Sashimi is good
Rolls are below average.
Ok for the on the go …

What a pleasant surprise! Locals told me to stop by here for sushi and the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the selection is great. Funky, cozy place with really, really delicious sushi! I can't wait for my next trip to Prince Rupert to come here again.
