I was visiting from Saskatchewan and had just enough time for a ground work lesson with Steph and her horses. Steph has such a talent for use and channeling of the right energy when interacting with horses and she is able to see your skill and comfort level and help you use the energy properly. I’ve had a horse for 20 years and I learned important insights in one hour with Steph. I would recommend her for any level of rider. Her facility is safe, clean and beautiful and her horses are happy and well cared for.

Stephanie and her team are fantastic! Very knowledgeable, safety orientated, and a great teacher! My kids did a 3 day discovery camp, where they learned the basics of approaching a horse, caring for, responsibilities, and an introduction to riding. I have been taking lessons with Stephanie for almost one year, and I can honestly say she has changed my life. Stephanie is an experienced horsewoman whose appreciation for, and knowledge of, horses transcends the usual experience of learning to ride a horse. While she is a supportive and rigorous coach, a gentle yet firm horse trainer, and an accomplished dressage rider….what Stephanie really teaches (and embodies) is the art of equitation. Through Stephanie I have learned that there is no separation between what you learn on and with a horse, and what you learn and uncover about and within yourself. Stephanie’s passion for this path and her love of working with her students gives one a rich and supportive experience while taking on something that can be challenging and daunting.

I now own my first horse, something I could not have imagined without Stephanie’s support and expertise. My mare boards at Stephanie’s, she has had three months of training with Stephanie (that I observed and participated in), I take lessons 3 times/week and I am there almost everyday spending time with my horse.

I am grateful to have found a coach and mentor whose humane and ethical approach to horses mirrors her approach with her students.

I highly recommend Hoof to Heart Horsemanship and whether you are taking riding lessons, need your horse trained or boarded, Stephanie is definitely the one to go to. I've taken lessons with quite a few other trainers over the years and none match the intuitiveness that she possesses! Stephanie has an inner sense that reads both your and your horse's needs. As an older rider, I appreciate the confidence she gives me to keep on riding.
