This is exactly what a B&B should be! It was clean, beautifully decorated, cozy, and every detail was thoughtful and appreciated. The gardens are lovely and the backyard feels private. Snacks, beverages, and extra touches like spare toiletries make you feel at home. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

We loved staying at 5 Gables. The room was spacious , quiet and beautifully appointed and we had sole access to the garden . It was a tranquil spot to stay en route from Vancouver to Torfino . The beach was a short walk away , but we used the car and parking for the beach was right next to the shore. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Nuestra estancia en Five Gable B&B fue excelente. Es un lugar magnífico, con un anfitrión insuperable. Repetiríamos sin lugar a dudas y lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera.
El lugar es tal cual se ve en las fotos, en este caso no hay trucos ni grandes angulares. Incluso es mejor estando allí que cuando se ve en las fotos.

If you ever get the chance to stay here, I highly recommend it. Its an open concept room with many luxuries. Fireplace, cozy seating area, huge tub, Rainforest type shower, 2 sinks, fridge, Kettle and coffee maker. We stayed 2 nights and they had the simple, yet perfect breakfast items already in the room so you could eat when you wanted. They included, snacks, drinks, robes and plenty of towels. If you wanted to stay in, there were games and cards in the room as well as a walk in closet with a desk and extra bedding. My friend joined me and she had a sleeping bag and mat so she set up in the closet for her own space. It worked out perfectly. The bed is king size and a new mattress. Slept very well here. There is a washer and dryer as well as a few dishes for you to use.
The outdoor space is AMAZING. A propane Fireplace, covered gazebo, bistro set and incredible lush and green garden area. I honestly felt we had the whole house to ourselves.
Vrat was extremely kind and helpful. He even offered me a ride to my next destination. I can not say enough great things about this B and B.
