Amazing service and atmosphere! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. My kids had such a great time here and absolutely loved meeting and playing with the cats — there are around 32 of them, each with their own personality. Such a fun and relaxing place for the whole family. Highly recommend Catolowna Cat Café for both kids and cat lovers! 🐾☕

I am visiting my family ( grandsons and daughter) and I’m from Prince George, BC. We decided to visit The Cat cafe and it was a wonderful visit!
I was impressed with how clean the facilities were kept.. especially considering how many cats were there! All the cats had many toys to play with and lots of places to hide and play!!
This was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. It was a unique experience and the atmosphere was relaxing and fun!! We all will be back to visit!!

The deserts were great. The only thing I wish they had a place for you to put your food as soon as you walk in to where the cats are. Because they require you to wash your hands but there's no shelf there. But they do have a cafe area free of cats where you can finish your food first.

Came in with my daughter and the staff was extremely welcoming and kind. The barista made us delicious lattes and did the cutest latte art for my daughter. The cats were so cute, I wish I could take them all 😂😭 definitely worth the trip. Super calming experience.

Anyone who enjoys loving little fur babies this is the place. So many cats and toys to play with. I was also pleasantly surprised how fully stocked the bakery was. Additionally so many cute cat themed knick nacks and crafted items. Place was everything I could have hoped for and more for cat lovers!

We were excited to visit the cat café as a family of six (grandma, myself, my husband, and our three kids ages 11, 9, and 2). We didn’t have reservations but were accommodated as walk-ins, which we appreciated. The entrance fee was fair, and our visit was really for our older kids to enjoy.

Unfortunately, I can only give this place 3 stars due to the unprofessional comment made during the “house rules” briefing. My 2-year-old was understandably making noise in the small space, so I took her out of respect for the other guests. As I was walking away, the staff chose that moment to say, “And this is why we don’t let kids under 5 in.” This wasn’t a lighthearted—it was directed at my toddler in front of strangers, and it came across as making a joke at our expense. It was unnecessary, unkind, and left a lasting negative impression.

Looking through other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t an isolated incident. Too many people have commented on staff attitude for it to just be “the customers’ fault.” When multiple guests who don’t know each other all report the same kind of experience, that’s not coincidence—it’s a pattern.

A business built around hospitality and joy should never make paying customers feel embarrassed or singled out. That’s exactly what happened here.

You can tell the ladies care for the cats. My latte was a typical latte nothing to write home about. There is a cover charge pre hour but we only had about 1/2 hour to spend there and was charged $10 each. We were asked to wear disposable plastic booties on our feet and wash our hands before entering. Boy were we happy that we had the booties on as there was 3 big puddles of pee one that we stepped in yuck. The attendant that was working in the room with the cat at one point walked through a puddle and it was never cleaned up. Maybe they need a swiffer readily available for quick clean up. The most concerning part of our visit was another cat coughing up a storm. He was very loud and was definitely ill. I was surprised to find out he had a respiratory infection previously and was not being kept separated from the others. When I had adopted my cat from the ASPCA there were kittens with respiratory infections there that were kept separate so that the other cats did not get sick. I would be concerned if I was currently adopting from here just because they had a sick cat mixed in with the others, no one wants to end up with a big vet bill right after brining their new family member home. If it weren’t for that I’d tell everyone to go get a kitty 32 cats that need a home is a lot

Can’t say enough good things about this place and how it’s run. Visited every weekend for a month to make sure I was going to be adopting the proper fit for our house. Explained my situation at the time to staff and they gladly walked me through and showed me cats that fit what I was looking for! Ended up getting to meet George and he’s been nothing short of amazing. Staff was transparent with not only George but also very thorough with the process with a lengthy questionnaire which is something I was really happy to see shows how much care is going into every cat in the building. Once again thank you so much for George !
