Nous étions un couple de 38-42 ans, et avons séjourné 2 nuits.

Dans notre séjour de 10 jours en Nouvelle Écosse, ce B&B est parmi nos 2 coups de cœur.

C’est à 15-20 min en auto de la ville d’Halifax, loin du bruit de la ville et au calme. La chambre est bien équipée, indépendante, et possède une magnifique vue sur l’eau.
Que vous soyez dehors ou à l’intérieur pour prendre le petit déjeuner, vous aurez toujours la vue sur la mer.
Le petit déjeuner est copieux, complet, et super bon.

La chambre est super propre et le lit est confortable.

Elaine est une personne accueillante, adorable, bienveillante, gentille et serviable.
Elle nous a très bien renseigné et suggéré pour découvrir la région. Ce fut un plaisir de partager des discussions avec elle.

Par ailleurs, c’est une place où il n’y a aucun jugement et sécuritaire pour la communauté LGBT+.

Je recommande absolument ce magnifique B&B. Un séjour mémorable.

The SeaWatch is a slice of heaven in Halifax Harbor. The location, accommodations, and the owners are really unique. Elaine and Stan, are down to earth, conscientious, very interesting, and just really nice people. The location is unbelievable--you are right next to the harbor with a billion dollar view through your wall to wall windows or from the outside deck. You can watch cruise ships, sailboats, harbor patrols, and rowboats go right by. The accommodation is quite large with a comfy bed, nice bathroom, and kitchenette and fascinating decor and history. The two breakfasts were delicious and were served on unique place settings. We are a senior couple who have travelled a fair amount, the Sea Watch was one of the finest accommodations we have seen.

This is such a unique B&B and the owners are incredibly personable. It's very easy to locate and is about 10 minutes outside of downtown Halifax. It sits right next to the water and has a gorgeous view from your deck. You have your own entrance to the Ship's Wheel suite that is decorated all in a nautical theme. The room was clean, welcoming, quiet and so comfortable. Their attention to detail in every aspect is unmatched and they were so helpful with suggesting places to visit or eat. I stayed for two nights, but only had breakfast once since I had to get on the road early. The breakfast was delicious and it was great to sit with the Elaine and talk about the nautical history in their family. I felt totally safe here as a solo and would definitely stay here again. If you want a relaxing place to stay with truly nice owners, this is it.

This was a wonderful place to stay at. The room is very unique as it is done in an antique nautical theme, was clean and comfortable with an awesome view. Had everything you needed with a mini fridge, sink, coffee and tea makers. We cannot say enough about the hosts, Elaine and Stan. They were a wealth of information and made you feel like family. The shell themed breakfasts (shell covers over food) were excellent each day. Our breakfast conversations with them were informative, long and fun. Thanks Elaine and Stan for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this place.

…..come back? Perhaps for even way longer.||This gorgeous hidden gem, came at just the right time after staying in hotels from Toronto. With close to no views, damp carpets and noisy AC. ||Trust the best reviews, and stay here before this great couple decides to quit. ||If we ever come back to this area, we will be scratching on the door.||Don’t miss the opportunity.

Stan and Elaine run a 5 star bb the room was beautifully decorated breakfast was amazing. The owners make you feel very comfortable and welcome like family I highly recommend their place. Thank you again Stan and Elaine.

Clean and comfortable room with gorgeous views of the Halifax harbour. The hosts are amazing, the breakfasts were excellent and nutritious. This was our first stop on our first trip to Nova Scotia and we couldn't have made a better choice! The room has everything you need and the nautical decor is rich with local history! Highly recommended. We will come back and stay again on our next trip.
