Delicious food. We were a table of 9, and everyone was happy. Halibut that was cooked to my liking. Desserts worth the calories. Nice drink choices. You will have a good experience,I predict, especially if you are a foodie.

Celiacs (and everyone else) If you haven't been here, you're missing out! The best gluten free bread we've ever had! The staff are attentive, the food was excellent and the whole place feels like eating with family.

Such a great little hidden gem in the heart of Truro!
We stopped in here for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. It's a small, quaint, spot but the food and service was excellent. We all had the eggs Benedict and each of us were impressed with our meals. The hollandaise sauce was very flavourful and the eggs were poached perfectly. Definitely one of the better eggs Benedict I've had lately!
We couldn't resist the desert menu and out server, Natalie, highly recommended the sticky toffee pudding. She definitely wasn't lying when she said it was amazing.
Overall we were all very impressed with our meals and look forward to coming back to try the dinner menu!

I was in town for work and asked a clerk where I could grab something quick but good, and she referred me to Bistro 22. I ordered ahead - lobster panini with Caesar salad - took it to go. I parked at Victoria park and ate in my car. I was DELIGHTED with the flavour of both! My only complaint is that I didn't order a 2nd! It was a decent lunch portion and really hit the spot. 100% I would go again, have the same thing, but based on the quality would love to try the rest of the menu over time!

My Wife and I had halibut, and starter was bacon wrapped scallops. To finish off this beautiful meal was tea for two and cherry cheese cake. The food was amazing, delicious and well presented. The staff are very attentive and informative. A must on anyones trip . Reservations help to ensure a spot is available.

Delightful local lively restaurant on a wonderful street. There is ample parking behind the shops as well. The food was terrific, made with care and love. We opted for lobster on a panini, I has the Mac and cheese my dining companion opted for the spinach salad, the server should have mentioned there was blue cheese as she isn't fond of it - no problem it ended up on my plate. The panini was full of lobster and the Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious, lovely and creamy with the larger style elbow macaroni. A definite do again. I urge you to make reservations as this is a favourite with locals and I now know why. Dennis knows his food. Kudos 👏

Bistro 22 is fantastic if you’re looking for an elevated dining experience. Their turkey cranberry sandwich with homemade mac & cheese is my favourite for lunch, and their gourmet supper options are always amazing.
