This is directed at "Trish Gray" who recently + impulsively 1 starred Tansley Woods due to the temporary elevator situation 3 months ago ...

I understand your frustration with the elevator situation at Tansley Woods, but I'd like to offer a different perspective.... Sometimes these issues are beyond the facility's control, and it's worth considering the bigger picture.

The staff here are truly caring and dedicated, and they've made a huge difference in my Stepmother's life. She's thrived since moving in, and it's clear the care provided goes far beyond the occasional mechanical hiccup. Perhaps we can balance our feedback with a bit more understanding and kindness, especially when it comes to issues that don't reflect the facility's overall quality of care

The situation with the elevators has become unbearable. Everyone understands the need for occasional maintenance but the ongoing issues here are affecting my mother's quality of life as she just simply chooses to not participate in lunch or other activities, because of the long waits for the one functioning elevator.
The other ongoing issue is the buzzer (for after hours entry) at the front door that hasn't worked since my mother moved in 20 months ago.
Tansley Woods is a lovely place and a very expensive residence. These issues should be addressed promptly rather than dragging on for months.

Our mother was at Tansley in the long term care area, in Oaklands. We cannot say enough about how kind, caring and attentive all the staff were. Although she only lasted a little over three weeks before she passed, we truly believe she received wonderful care right to the end. We need to mention one nurse in particular, Sammar. She is exceptional. Sammar was professional, extremely knowledgeable and so wonderful to our mother Sherry, and with our family. Thank you to all the staff at Tansley, and in particular Oaklands!

My father with early dementia moved into the Egerton floor two months ago and Marlene and all the staff are just amazing. The staff are so caring that my dad has thought he was in a Resort on some visits…no words can describe how wonderful they are to my father on this floor…they took care from the beginning to place him in a neighbourhood he would fit in, encourage him to do things he would never have done at home ad honestly just caring wonderful staff all around

Very questionable dining sanitation. Please see picture.

My mother has lived at Tansley for several years and really enjoys the amenities, people, staff and finds the suites very spacious. However, she consistently cites dining room sanitation as being poor quality and will often bring her own drinking glass and cutlery so she can avoid using the filthy place setting provided. I was disgusted when my mother recently shared a picture of a drinking glass Tansley provided for her dinner.

My mother is able to advocate for her self and has raised concerns about sanitation at the culinary meetings Tansley hosts. However, her concern's continue to be ignored.

Tansley Woods, please do better.

An extremely nice, clean and friendly place to visit. We feel like we won a jackpot when our family member was accepted here.
The grounds are very nicely kept and the inside is decorated for any /all holidays. The staff are very friendly and caring. Always look forward to taking our relative out of his area and out to have a beverage where they have coffee stations with juice, water and fruit. Total thumbs up for this place.

My parents have been there for about 1 month.
From the first tour with Janeny to the assessment with Paige prior to moving in - the experience was great! Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
My siblings & I know that our parents are in a safe and loving place where everyone considers you family.
