Visited this place last Sunday with three friends. We ordered the chicken tikka shawarma and regular shawarma, plus the chicken tikka poutine and falafel poutine.

We chose this spot because they had a $10 large bowl promotion. When we arrived, it wasn’t very busy and only two employees were working.

Overall, our experience was okay. When placing our order, the cashier initially charged us the regular price instead of the promotional $10. After we pointed it out, he laughed it off and corrected it — a little strange, honestly.

It took about 15–20 minutes to get our food, which was acceptable. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. The chicken was very dry and almost flavorless. The rice had turmeric but lacked salt and seasoning, and we ended up throwing away half of it. The falafel was also dry and tasted more like a hara bhara kebab than an actual falafel.

Based on this visit, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this location.

I had previously left a 1 star review years ago when they were new but their food quality has improved astronomically! I find it to be the best now. So I deleted my old review and here’s a new one. Love their garlic sauce and salad. Ordered takeaway. Thank you team Ace for making the food so delicious. 10/10 recommended

Got the butter chicken rice bowl for a picnic today. The chicken’s dry and the original sauce with comes with butter chicken is not enough to complement the dryness of the chicken. Also, the food seemed bland with no salt and pepper.

With got the large rice bowl with 3 toppings: cucumber, lettuce and pickles. The lettuce wasn’t even there. 5 cubes of cucumber and 5 pickles slices. For a large rice bowl.

Completely disappointed with the food here.

Decided to try this place because it was close to where I was meeting someone else for another reason. I had a shawarma burger and spicy fries. The fries were crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning for me. (Too spicy for my wife)

My wife had chicken shawarma rice (mixed rice and fries). The chicken was well seasoned and very flavourful.

Staff was friendly and polite.

Absolutely recommend!

I stopped by on a whim and I'm glad I did.
I got the chicken shawarma cheeseburger cause it was Thursday. The burger was such a new experience for me, I'd have to recommend it. Fresh food. Quick professional service. Oh and the TRACTOR peach! All of it 5 outta 5 stars experience!

Ordered two shawarma plates, when trying to use a coupon for BOGO they mentioned at check out it wasn’t valid. After 10-15 mins wait they also said they had no rice which they ended up swapping out for fries.

In the end this was meant to also be normal sauce amount which didn’t help much with the chicken being dry and fries pretty tough.

Was pretty good initially but doesn’t feel like the food is on par now.

We grabbed takeout last night, and it was absolutely amazing.

They use some quality ingredients, and everything is fresh and tasty.

Really enjoyed the veggies on the wrap. The Falafel were perfect, and the hummus was great. All the sauces had good flavor, and the rice was so fresh! The fries were fabulous, especially with their heat; that spice packs a punch! Was really glad to have the fresh juice to enjoy alongside the meal - absolutely refreshing. Loved the Friday night special.

The staff were also absolutely friendly and knowledgeable. Just enthusiastic and happy to be there. Other customers were leaving, exclaiming how its the best shawarma and meal they had enjoyed.

I'll definitely be returning here.

The last few times I have visited Ace Shawarma (since they updated their menu) has been quite nice from the food to the service. I finally feel that I'm getting what I'm paying for. This is one of the more expensive shawarma establishments in my opinion, so I'm glad that they updated their menu and quality - mainly related to the quantity of food and plating provided for the price. The employee staff are also very kind and helpful. Their loyalty program is also great...just got my meal for like less than $2 after applying my points.
