Because of Scotiabank changing their web interface recently, one is no longer able to access online banking unless they make use of the mobile app to "verify" their sessions through 2SV/2-Step Verification. I do not own a smartphone, so I am now cut off from using online banking. Physical branches are unable to do eTransfers for you for some reason, so I also can no longer use that service. It will certainly be a headache having to walk to the bank even to just check my balance or get a copy of my monthly statements.
The staff at this location were however very helpful with trying to resolve this problem, even though they were unable to offer me a solution.

Very bad experience with this branch . Its kind a racism that i saw from Aiden who was at the counter. He was rude very rude. Doesn’t know how to speak with customers . He was talking to me as if am a theif here.
Don’t go to this place .

I highly urge higher authorities to take care of this matter.

This scotiabank is helpless and they are not a professional staff they didn’t listen to customers and they are very rude I requested to deposit the cheque she denied me because she said I don’t have time. She said bank is closed now while I’m checking my time still 5 minutes to close it. I told her but she can’t listen.

Pam is the reason I love this branch, that, and it’s en route to work. She is exceptional at her job, personable, professional, super genuine and welcoming. I was doing a longer transaction with another teller and I heard Pam greet every single one of the Scotiabank customers by name. Good old fashioned customer service of days gone by and my guess is those older clients really appreciated it.

Very bad customer service and Financial advisor
I had an appointment on 22nd March 2024 with financial advisor Ryan Micks regarding new credit card approval. After the meeting he said that he will contact me if I get approval for a new credit card or not by next Monday. Since today i did not get any response although i sent a follow up email but no response.
I feel that this bank doesn't care about common people like me or other low earners or people who want to build their credit. No options for secured credit cards
I feel bad closing my accounts soon and transferring to another bank who cares about people.
I have been using this bank since 2016 but this is the worst experience

Absolutely fantastic staff i have had a few problems with my bank accounts there were so nice they called telephone banking for me and fixed my account, i would have to say the nicest staff of all branches. Also for as small of a branch it is the tellers move the line quite fast.
