I’d like to express my disappointment with the customer service at the Hugo Boss store in Tanger. On both occasions that I visited, including the most recent one, the experience was far below expectations.

When we entered the store, there was no greeting—no “hello” or acknowledgment from the staff. As we browsed, we received no assistance or offers to help with sizes or specific items. It felt as though customers were not welcome at all.

We eventually left the store because it was clear the sales associates were not interested in helping. We were ready to make a purchase, but the lack of basic customer service made it impossible to justify spending money there.

This was our second visit, and unfortunately, nothing has improved. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, as the current level of service does not reflect the standards expected from a brand like Hugo Boss.

Initially, we visited the Hugo Boss Tanger Outlet on April 7, after noon. There were no other customers present, and the two staff members were engaged in a loud conversation, neglecting to acknowledge our arrival with a greeting. They merely glanced at us before continuing their discussion and using their phones, casting a sidelong glance. I believe the management should reassess their staff, including the hiring manager at this location. This experience has given me insight into why there is a noticeable lack of customers entering the store. And when we left they laughed so loud. I want to start by saying I typically give a five star review even when I’m not blown away by a business…

The staff working at this location are terrible. Whoever is doing the hiring here needs better judgement. There is a total lack of customer service, every time I have been here. Very contradictory to the Hugo Boss brand.

I usually love shopping at BOSS, but I had a very disappointing experience today at the BOSS Outlet in Tanger Outlets. One of the male staff members—blond hair, wearing a navy striped suit—was extremely rude and dismissive.

He treated us as if it was our first time ever seeing luxury clothing, speaking in a condescending tone when we asked about prices. His attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, as though we didn’t belong in the store. It’s completely unacceptable for a brand like BOSS to tolerate that kind of customer service.

I hope management takes this seriously, because no one should be treated like this—especially not in a store that represents elegance and class.

Had a wonderful experience at this outlet. I usually shop in Toronto and found the selection here better. The shopping lady was very helpful to me and my husband. We purchased two suits from her and will visit again when we are in town.

The employees rarely greet the customer, when they do the have an attitude towards you when you ask questions. This has happened on numerous visits. This last visit we came in and bought two top, when we asked for a second bag as we were gifting the shirts, the employee became very rude and argued with us over the second bag. Over all we have not had a pleasant experience when visiting.
