We decided to eat Greek for supper so the four of us headed for Sonbadas. It looks like this might have been a Dog-n-Sudz back in the sixties. The big parking lot was quite full, but there were plenty of tables inside. It seemed they were short staffed as we had to wait quite a while to be seated. Menus were on the table and we started to make our choices. There is much more than Greek food, but we opted for Chicken and Shrimp Souvlakis and a Moussaka. We had a peek at the drink menu and couldn’t justify the prices so we opted for water. The food came and we were all pleased. Every so often someone from a nearby table would have a fire show with a shout of “Opa”. Settling the bill took way too long as we could not catch a servers eye. I went and stood at the counter for some time before I was helped. Sonbadas has seen better days. It is quite dilapidated, yet we felt the food was good.

Got the shrimps for $14 and got 5 tiny shrimps swimming in a lake of butter/oil? The pasta was mediocre, tasted like a reheated plate of frozen pasta from Costco. My expectations were high based off the reviews as there was not many choices of food around but I was disappointed! not worth trying, everything tasted like the food back in high school cafeteria 🙁

First time here with my family and we got a super friendly waiter who was very kind and attentive. The appetizers came out quick! Food was very tasty, big portions, even got a free brownie dessert for my birthday! Served with bubbling hot caramel and a candle! We got to watch another table get served the flaming hot dish... Very cool! The flame literally touched the roof! Both times! I think children would love to see that. Will definitely be going again.

I recently dined at this fantastic place and had an incredible experience! The chicken souvlaki was perfectly grilled, tender, and bursting with Mediterranean flavours. The homemade Ekmek dessert was a delightful finish, with its creamy texture and just the right amount of sweetness. The ambiance was charming, and the service was exceptional. I can't wait to return for another delightful culinary journey!

Was really looking forward to eating here for a while. Do not attempt if you have anyone that requires assistance! There was not one person in the restaurant I went in ahead of time, the server stuck us at a table that I couldn't even get my 90 year old companion into, she was zero help, when we left I had to ask for help to open the doors as he was in a walker. We ordered an appy that was terrible, it was the "flaming cheese" which was burnt and hard. and a steak dinner, the steak was ok but the potatoes and veggies and garlic toast were cold. The server was very nice so I left a good tip but won't be going back anytime soon.

Went there a couple weeks ago with friends .The service was fast, our server took the time to explain the menu items to us patiently as it was our first time trying Greek food. The food came in a reasonable time, in good portions. We ordered Sagnaki, steak and roast lamb.The flaming cheese was fun experience. The roast lamb was so good and must try from the menu.Definitely will go back and recommend to friends!

I came here a little over two years ago and wasn't thrilled with the food, but figured I'd give it another try.
The food last night was fantastic. The chicken was so juicy and tender, and the sides were fresh and well seasoned. Not only was the service prompt and professional but they insisted I stay, relax, and enjoy my meal after closing. I arrived late, and asked for a to-go box as it got close to 10pm, and was very kindly told to take my time if I preferred.
I will definitely be back!

Way too many items to choose from, and too expensive. I think this used to be a very nice restaurant, but their menu consists of soooo many below average quality items, that tasted like they were likely frozen. Boring. No flavor or uniqueness at all. If they simplified their menu and worked on their core identity, this place could thrive! It's a nice space and the lady (the only other person I saw or heard from at the restaurant during peak hours), was very nice, and attentive. The food was not good. We would not go back unless there was significant improvement and originality. There's tremendous potential, but not in it's current state. I have to say though...the restaurant sign is CLASSIC! That - I would keep! Ditch the "SYSCO" menu and start over!
