Stayed in the executive suite, as it has a king size bed and is a bit bigger than the other rooms, and it was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, felt as though I was staying in a 5 ⭐️ hotel!! Very comfortable bed too!! Perfect for a weekend stay!

I checked into the Wilshire Inn in Claresholm (Nov. 13th) while getting work done on my vehicle. I was only supposed to be here 2 days but it has turned into 6 days. I will be checking out hopefully in another day or two.|What a fantastic hotel this is. I love it here. And I wouldn't hesitate to come back. |I love the decor. I have tons of desk space (7 feet long guestimate) and huge TV with fridge, microwave and internet. The internet does go in and out here and there but it's fine. |The rooms seem new, very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the heat/ac/fan controls are very easy to use and very effective. If I'm cold -- I just have to turn the dial and the room is warm in 5 min. Or I can cool the room down just as fast. |I love that they have a laundry room on the main floor, a meeting room also on the main floor and a kitchen on the 2nd floor for us to use which has been awesome ! ||The hotel is next door to A&W and a Tim Hortons is also very close by. It is about a 1 km walk to a quaint little coffee shop (Blackwood coffee co) who have home made soups, sandwiches, sweets, lattes etc. Across the street from them is a grocery store (IGA). ||The staff here at The Wilshire are wonderful. And it's quiet here. One of the best places I have stayed for sure.

We found the hotel strangely locked up. You needed to phone a person to come to the door. It was only about 4 pm. It smelled terrible. Had a bad feeling so chose not to stay. It felt unsafe.

The rooms were a bit older but there’s nothing wrong with that. Everything was clean and the A/C worked great! Every time we encountered an employee, they were lovely and very helpful! We found the hotel quiet even being located on the main floor. We were there with our two kids who are under the age of 4 and the TV was set up with all the streaming apps and YouTube so we were able to put on anything they wanted. We would definitely stay there again!

I booked 3 rooms for the shop guys who went out for a service call. They said the rooms were ok but needed some things fixed. Room keys didn't always work and had to be reactivated. The lady at the front desk was very helpful but very busy. Great location but won't be booking here again.

Stayed at the Wiltshire for a few months Naz and staff were great i travel for work to Alberta yearly from the east coast I’ve stayed in Hotels Motels and work camps all across Alberta nothing compared to this establishment Rooms were exceptionally clean with Huge tv’s comfortable beds and great staff. They are always willing to help you out with anything you may need day or night. Great place in a great community

I would personally avoid this hotel at all costs! Seriously. We were locked out of our room (key card faulty) and there was not a single employee in the building. The entire hotel does NOT have employees 24/7. I waited 3+ hours trying to contact anyone associated with the hotel to be able to get into our room. They have a number to call and it just rings the phone behind the desk - with no employees. At 5:30AM I finally received a call from "the manager" giving me access to a lock box with a master key. Slept for 4.5 hours before check-out. Went to the front desk to ask for a refund and guess what? No employees in the building.

There are better options in Claresholm.

No phones in the rooms, no coffee pots, Ruko tv, no pool or exercise room, rooms were less than basic but staff was very kind and accommodating.
