Staff was nice and rooms were very clean, modern and updated. Bed was comfortable but pillows so puffy they gave me a crook in my neck. The one major issue with the room was the gap under the door was so big I could see the carpet in the hallway- a privacy issue plus all the light bleeding into the room. Also, whenever someone nearby closed a door or let it slam, the wall and thus the headboard shook. Made it hard for me to fall asleep even with earplugs.

The hotel was great, Better than expected.
The fireplace was very nice but quite a loud ticking as the timer counting down.
The only odd thing was when I asked for lotion I was told it could not be provided as it was a two star hotel, which it didn’t feel like until then.
Just be aware bring your own lotion as winters are dry.

We had such delight service from this hotel. We requested for a room change and they had us upgraded upstairs with a bonfire with minimal $ upgrade. Our room had access to the patio with breath taking views any time of the day. Easy to access, near shops and our favourite bagel place! The front desk people were very pleasant & accomodating. Highly recommend 1000/10

Rooms were very clean, modern, and well taken care of. Having a little fridge and microwave was really nice. Online check in/check out and not having to deal with key cards was nice. Overall great hotel and would be happy to stay again.

Went here and got a room for the night that was more than what the price was on their website. When I brought this up to the receptionist, all he said was, “Oh…uhm…” and was just followed by silence. We didn’t push as it was pretty late, we were all just tired from our long drive and we had a baby with us that we just wanted to put to bed. If not, I would have just spent the 5mins that it would take to book the room online. Our room was clean and smelled wonderful, the room itself is very modern. The fireplace was a nice touch. Definitely nicer than most hotels that we’ve stayed at in the past. But, I do want to note that the walls are very thin. We were woken up, including our baby, by conversations and footsteps happening from the outside of our room. We could hear everything that was happening outside. We also got a text from the hotel reminding us of the check out time and asking us what time we’ll be checking out. This is a bit much, I find it ridiculous that they need to remind people through text messaging when they already let you know during check-in. We were also told by both the man that checked us in in the evening and the woman that checked us out in the morning that our deposit will be back in our credit card 24hours after we check out. This didn’t happen. So I called to get an update and was told over the phone that it gets released 24hrs after we check out and will take up to 5 business days until it’s back in our credit card. I strongly recommend giving your front desk staff a refresher on their verbiage when it comes to the deposit because both times we were told, and this was their exact words that “Your deposit will go back into your card 24hrs after you check out.” which now I know is false.

Positive: The location was great! Within walking distance to downtown. Great breakfast place, just down the road. Just off the trans Canada. Mountains to the fron of us and mountains to the back of us! Negative: I found the online check in very smooth and easy to get into our room, however as a result we had little to no contact with the staff. They did greet us each time we passed the reception desk.

Girl from front desk was helpful and very polite. We stayed in room 108, November 23. Room was very very clean! Room is renovated. Bed was amazing! We were super time in hotel. Close to Save on food, just minets drive and easy to take a highway.
