Not sure about the hotel, but the restaurant...in our opinion, very poor quality. My husband ordered a burger, and it had no flavor/seasoning. I ordered french toast on SOURDOUGH bread, but received a plate of cheap, flat, white bread. I was told they were out of sourdough...no excuse. I could walk 100 yards across the street to Safeway and buy a loaf of sourdough, so why can't they? To make it worse, they waitress brought what tasted like the worst fake maple syrup, despite my specific request to pay more to *not bring the 'corn-syrup' stuff. You're in Canada! How can this be? The breakfast potatoes were ok, the eggs were cooked correctly, but the bacon was hard and cold. This probably used to be a good restaurant, but unless you're going there for eggs and potatoes, I wouldn't recommend.

My favorite place to eat hands down. Be prepared to hearty, because this is not your "city" diner, you get pure logger love here

Awesome breakfast! Could use 3 egg breakfast with 4 toast fir special.... but always friendly and good food

Breakfast is always good. Dinner & supper is so so after the menu expanded.

Staff is very good, location really can not be beat.

As a former desk clerk, I was surprised there was no naloxone there to treat potential overdoses, which are free. I was a first aid attendant in the past & the naloxone training can be done online in less than an hour.

I had to stay at the bear country inn for almost 3 weeks for a medical trip and the staff was perfect had a medical issue happen on the first day, was helped right away made my stay far less stressful. food was great even the sea food however I'm not used to sea food I could tell it was good and the location made it easy to go to stores while I took care of one of my family members. staying there for three weeks didn't feel like I was too far away from home staff are great i really recommend if you have to go to a hotel in terrace its a good place to stay.

Only visited the restaurant, food was quick and good. Highly recommend the cinimon buns ? unfortunately space wasn't very clean ( the washrooms where especially not clean ) it was very loud and busy, tho service received was good it was near impossible to get.

Well the room was clean but the TV didn't work when I got there the some one unpluged the cord from the back . Then the toilet would not fill the tank because the chain to the plug was to short so I had to pull the flush handle up to make it closed . And the faucet on the tub was on at an angle so some of the water coming out would get on the floor the faucet on the sink was crooked as well but the was just cosmetic and looked funny. I did talk to the manager about the toilet. I did get the impression he did most of the repairs him self . I sure hope he doesn't pay someone for that work because the workmanship was pretty poor . Hopefully in time he will get better at fixing stuff and get him self some better tools if it wasn't for these small details I would give this place 4 stars it's a motel and a cheaper one at that
