$14.50 plus tax gave me this. Fairly outraged. My sandwich consisted of 2 old pieces of microwaved bacon, some soggy lettuce, undertoasted bread, unrippened piece of tomato. Friends14.50 wrap plus tax looked like it had been rolled in toilet paper and was not much bigger than an eggroll. I did go up and ask if this was normal. Staff very polite and said "yes". I'd say based on the food, the general grubbiness ( I used my sweater to open the bathroom door) manager and or owner is absent and just doesn't care. So here's my review. I don't like being ripped off and clean your washrooms including the door handle please.

Good coffee, food might be 4⭐️, but I’ll go with 5⭐️ because of the staff and prices..! Overall a great place for chill, work, read, or chat!✨

🍫☕️I highly recommend their chocochino (hope I didn’t get the name wrong.) It was a regular cappuccino but with chocolate milk. SUPER RICH AND MAKE YOUR DAY.

Buckwheat tart was special, apricot jam inside. An option for people who want something sweet but not too much.

For cinnamon bun, what people recommend a lot! It was huge first of all, great portion that can full you until late afternoon. Really, a lot of raisin inside (which I love it) with sticky syrup all over. However, there was an oily taste for me which couldn’t be covered by anything.

Stopped in today and service was friendly and great. The cashier was fantastically considerate and gave the perfect recommendations. Food was wonderful and the blended Frap was devine. I am excited to try this Strawberry, Raspberry, Rhubarb crumble. My only wish was the bacon on my wrap was under cooked for me.

My favourite coffee shop in Lethbridge. London Fog made with oat milk. So good! I love the little gingerbread cookies that come on top!
When I’m feeling like food the pasta salad is amazing and the cinnamon buns too!
Wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. Love the local art that’s displayed and changes regularly.

The food is always delicious and I love that they have daily specials for soup, sandwich, and drink. The coffee drinks are fantastic. The prices are reasonable and on par with other coffee shops. The service is great and I like the location if you want to spend some time downtown. They have the best pasta salad I've ever had, ever!

Ordered half a sandwich for $7 but there was barely anything inside the bread! Flat, tiny and looked like it was for a 5 year old. I’m sad the food has gone downhill. Have to maintain the standards people expect from The Penny. Miserable glaring staff and the cinnamon buns were overcooked. 🙁

A great coffee shop in downtown Lethbridge. Service was a bit slow to start, as staff were having a chit-chat behind the counter. However, once they stepped-up to take our order, things went very well. The person taking the order was friendly and helpful. She took the order quickly. The baked goods were great, fresh and tasty. My latte was more lukewarm than hot, but otherwise well made. The overall experience was good and would return for a visit next time we visit Lethbridge.
