Ich habe eine sehr schöne Zeit an einem wunderbaren Ort verbracht. |Alles war bestens. |Lydia und Johannes sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, man fühlt sich sehr wohl bei ihnen.|Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gemütlich.|Die wunderbare Aussicht auf den Fluss ließ einen entspannen und vom Alltag entfliehen.|Das reichhaltige Frühstück von Johannes war sehr lecker. Hier erwartet einen echte Gastfreundschaft. Lydia und Johannes haben die Zimmer schön und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist prima. Eier werden nach den individuellen Wünschen zubereitet. Der Blick auf den River ist toll und abends wurde ich zu einem Bierchen in gemütlicher Runde eingeladen. Die beiden geben einem das Gefühl bei Freunden zu Gast zu sein obwohl man sich gerade erst kennengelernt hat. Bis bald mal wieder!

The couple who runs this B and B, Lydia and Johannes, are very kind. They offered to bring us to see fireworks with them. Their B and B is a bit tucked away and down an unpaved road, and when you get there, you’re not even sure if you’re in the right place, but you are! The B and B is in their house and they welcome you right in. The two king rooms are downstairs and very spacious with their own entrance. The queen room is in their house upstairs. Your stay includes breakfast. We had a king room and it was perfectly clean, spacious, bright, and modern. It had everything we needed though we only stayed one night. It was extremely comfortable and quintessentially German with a gorgeous German style wooden bed. There is a little porch outside to take in the views of the river, though the river is not actually accessible from the room. Food and restaurants are about 15 minutes away. Overall a great stay!

This was such a lovely place to stay. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. The room was very nice, cozy and clean and the view was beautiful. The morning breakfast is prepped and made with care and it was delicious! We are so glad to have stayed at this Bed and Breakfast and highly recommend it. Danke! 🙂

Traumhafter Ort zum Ausspannen, herrliche Umgebung. Saubere Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Supertolles Frühstück. Gute Auskünfte und Tipps zu lokalen und regionalen Fragen. Auch ganz praktische Hilfen wurden gegeben.
Wir wurden sehr familiär aufgenommen, die Gemeinschaft mit Gastgebern und anderen Besuchern war sehr angenehm.

This was more than just a room, it was a very clean studio with the largest bed we ever slept in. Very quiet setting near the river. We felt at home with this German family!|We would certainly recommend this place to other people. Everyting we needed, could be provided.

Our hosts Johannes and Lydia Stroebel were warm and welcoming. Johannes prepared a delicious breakfast with lots of variety. The Bavarian style home was warm and very clean. The light colored wood of the furniture reminded me of places we stayed in Europe. I loved the mattress and slept so well with the fresh air of the woods coming in from open windows. I really appreciated the private bathroom attached to our room.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit an einem wunderschönen Ort in der Natur des Cape Breton, mit sehr herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgebern und einem tollen, modernen, geräumigen Zimmer & Badezimmer. Der Blick von der Terrasse vor unserem Zimmer auf den Fluss war toll. Eine Fahrt mit dem hauseigenen Kanu auf dem Fluss krönte unseren Aufenthalt. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!
